"The first room I got was on the fourth floor and someone was frying food with the door to their room propped open.and the hall smelled of it. I able to get a room on the 7th floor. room 715, seemed nice at first till i noticed that the toilet runs all day and night. there was no stopper in the bath sink, the electrc cooktop was very defective. the left burner seems to work but the thing is old and you cannot read the knob. the right burner did not work at all,. the refridge was also intermittently noisy and thats all night too. the microwave is rusted on the inside. "

"Room was clean, halls were a mess as they are painting and updating areas of the hotel. Materials were left in the hall after the workers left. Was left unsafe in my opinion "

"MOLD AND FUNGUS! The pool area was absolutely disgusting! Mold growing on the tile floors all around the hot tub and black mold on the ceilings. There was also a disgusting thick orange/brown fungus or something growing on the walls and chunks were falling off onto the floors. I spoke to a women at the desk and explained this is horrendous and I chose this hotel because it offered a pool and hot tub. I showed her the pictures and she asked me to send an email explaining all this so she could send it to the general manager. I sent the email immediately with a full description, Pictures and confirmed she received it and she did. She informed me that it has been sent to the proper people. I was checking out two days later and went down to the pool to see if they had taken care of the problem or closed the pool before writing a review. They had not. I never received a response or apology and the pool remained open with fungus and mold everywhere in that area. If they leave a common area like this completely and openly neglected, what else are they neglecting? Makes it hard believe the rooms are being properly cleaned as well and all I wanted was a response from management and I recieved nothing. "

"Host was very quick to reply to any questions. House is beautiful, and in a great area with easy access to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. We will stay here again when we find time to go back and finish the site seeing we didn't get to do during this initial visit. "
