"The hotel had a lightening strike during our stay and was without electricity for about 6 hours, and the elevator was out for the last evening and checkout morning of our stay. While this wasn’t their fault, I would have liked to have seen the management work to have additional staff on hand to help guests that needed help to get breakfast or get help with luggage. I understand these were extenuating circumstances, but their breakfast and coffee were so superior, I was surprised at the seeming inability to go above and beyond in the emergency situation."
