River City Casino & Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"For the price on a cross country trip, our stay was fabulous, so good in fact we stopped there on the way to the east coast and on the way back to Nevada. This is the perfect place to stop in the middle and take a GOOD shower. After days of questionable bathrooms, and sad water pressure, this place is a God send. It’s good value for money, and one of the on property restaurants makes a pretty decent burger at 10pm on a Tuesday.
It is a little off the beaten path but worth the weird drive. The only complaint is that you have to walk a distance to get a luggage cart and leave your ID as collateral. Also no one under 21 is allowed to go through the casino. So if you have kids and/or a lot of luggage -be aware"
"I have stayed at the Holiday Inn a few times and love it. The staff is always super nice and friendly. We love sitting by the pool or in the shaded areas near the pool. This hotel is fantastic and will stay there again"
"The host was very welcoming and responded quickly when we sent messages. Additionally we had to check out a little later and the host was very understanding. The house itself is very clean and organized. We would 100% come back if we come to St. Louis another time!"
"The hardest thing for me was the front door. I could never get it to open. Had to get the youngsters to do it for me. The home was very nice and clean. The kids had a spot downstairs and the adults fought for king bed.Had a couple of small issues but host was made aware of them. Overall very good time"
"Very clean house, close to everything we wanted to see the Arch, Botanical Garden, and Grants Farm and close to lots of restaurants. Love immo's pizza. "
