Top Ulster Folk and Transport Museum Hotel Reviews
Aloft by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location — directly opposite the Titanic Experience and museum. It’s a pleasant 20–30 minute walk to the city centre along the river walkway. The hotel is also close to the arena, which was really handy for food. There are several well‑known restaurants on site, plus bowling, a cinema and an arcade, making it ideal for keeping children entertained on a rainy day. The rooms were spacious, modern and had everything you need. My only slight gripe was breakfast. The food itself and the range of options were good, but much of it was left uncovered, and I noticed several flies around the breads, pastries, fruit salad, cheese and meats — which unfortunately put me off completely."
Titanic Hotel Belfast
10/10 Excellent
"I love this hotel! The free breakfast was great. Clean rooms. Location a little walk but not bad at all."
Clandeboye Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful place, nice accommodations, helpful staff, and nice restaurant with really good food. Short drive from Belfast, nice to be in the country!"
The Old Inn Crawfordsburn
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent customer service and facilities. Food was superb. Great breakfast menu and added bonus of spa and pool. Highly recommend."
Spacious family-friendly & pet-friendly Victorian home in bustling east Belfast
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic, and the house was exactly as described. We were lucky with perfect weather and really enjoyed the outdoor spaces, including using the BBQ. Our kids were in heaven with all the toys. The hosts were great communicators and helped us with clear instructions when we had a question. We would absolutely love to come back!"
Downshire Haven
10/10 Excellent
"The house was generally clean, a little bit of updating is needed to fix a damaged window lock in the back bedroom, treat a patch of damp in the bathroom, and secure a floor strip on one of the doorways. But the house has everything you could reasonably need for a short-medium stay. The location is generally quiet, with quick access to the local high street, and trains into Central Belfast. The host is decent at communicating check-in info, and facilities."
Ashfield Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Brilliant stay, wonderful host"
Premier Inn Carrickfergus
8/10 Good
"We love the location as it close to downtown Carrick, shops, restaurants and the old castle, which incidentally does great tours."
Beautiful 4-Bed house, short walk to beach & train – Spacious & Family-Friendly
8/10 Good
"The only issues we had were some mold that needed cleaning around the clothes washer door gasket seal and the fact that the clothes dryer in the garage didn't seem to function on some settings. Otherwise the house was comfortable and well located with Nicola being a considerate host."
