"We had an incredible experience. The property is gorgeous, modern, clean and charming. The internal Japanese garden is a work of art. The staff is wonderful and always available to help. we decide to go back and bring our children with us next time. "

"This was the most beautiful Ryokan we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms, amazing food, lovely Onsen and absolutely stunning walks in the hills and mountains around. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!"

"I had a wonderful time at Kamesei Ryokan. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I was able to truly relax in the onsen. A great place to unwind and enjoy authentic Japanese hospitality."

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"The room is very clean and fresh. Very close to Nagano train station east exit. Breakfast is delicious but a bit too crowded due to amount of ppl staying. Coin laundry is available on L1 which is awesome. Staff is very friendly. The only thing to be improved is bed a bit hard for me."
"Stayed 3 nights in an executive room on the 10th floor. It was clean, spacious, and with a good view of the station and the mountains. Will stay again."
"Only 5-7mins walk to Nagano St. Many options of dining restaurants around hotel and station. They provided all amenities which we needed very complete, there were (if i m not mistaken) 4 or 5 coins-laundry machine with its dryer near lobby/receiptionist area on the Ground/1st floor. We really had wonderful 4 night-stays here! "
"The owners made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed their homemade traditional Japanese breakfasts, his and her onsen bath, and the care they took to make us feel comfortable. We cannot recommend this highly enough!"
