What a lovely reception upon arriving at the property and to be met and assisted by Carolyn and Tom to settle in and to make themselves available at any time.
Clean and quiet, really a little gem. Loved the shower.
Very comfortable bed.
Very comfortable accommodations, location is a little aways from the downtown.A little worried about the quality of water as we were told they have well water and they don’t test it.Very nice view of the town and inlet.

Fantastic
This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
Carolyn's Cove was an idyllic stay, the hosts were incredibly kind and understanding especially when we arrived late due to being stopped in the highways for construction. Every part of the stay was perfect and the amenities like the hot tub, firepit, spa washroom, shared kitchen, and of course a view that could not be best - were such a treat and made the stay extra special!

Beautiful View
Well, the view is the main reason to stay here—amazing.
As others have noted, the continental breakfast is the bare minimum. We were surprised to discover that our room was not cleaned daily. The stone steps down to the basement rooms are a bit steep and uneven, and the hand rail is rickety. The owner is very focused on making sure all guests follow the house rules or there will be dire consequences. Some guests could be uncomfortable with the lack of privacy in the shower as there is a window through to the bedroom. We would not stay at this property when next in the area, but would choose a place nearer to town with a view of the water from the room.

Very comfortable bed and room. Loved the rain shower and window view to the ocean. Hubby loved the shower bench! Tom and Carolyn are very hospitable and friendly made us feel very welcome! Kitchen had all the necessary amenities! Highly recommended place to stay😊
The location was idyllic - calm, secluded and beautiful. Tom Carolyn put a lot of effort into making their home as comfortable as possible for their guests.
Great location, it's away from the downtown area. It's quiet.

Liked: Cleanliness
The view from outside our room was beautiful. You could not comfortably take advantage of the view from inside the room. The continental breakfast was minimal. Our room was not made up daily so we had to sweep the floor ourselves to avoid having forest litter tracked everywhere. The steps down to the basement rooms are a bit steep and irregular. A decent handrail is needed. The property around the house could use a good cleaning especially under the outside stairs. The property is a bit of a drive into town on a winding and dark road. The orientation to the property is lengthy and is focused on lots of rules and the dire consequences if any rule is broken. We will choose different accommodations when next visiting the area.
