"Beautiful historical hotel with nicely appointed rooms and comfortable linens. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room which I neglected to notice when I made the reservation. The room had a balcony and it was lovely to sit outside above the hustle and bustle on the street and enjoy a glass on wine before dinner! It was quiet inside the room; I never heard other guests or traffic outside. The only drawback was that there were no handrails or towel bars in the bathroom. "

The rooms were spotless and the housekeepers were personable and very helpful. It might not have been the ritziest but personalities and cleanliness more than made the difference.
