The rooms are Good but the toilts need maintenance. You cannot find the staff at the reception all the time. The owner is a very nice and friendly person.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will work to fix this issue with the toilet.We are currently short staffed so there are times when reception is empty for a few minutes while they are helping other guests, or overnight, when the reception is closed. The owner is a con artist. He gave my expensive room away and was trying to give me a cheap room for the same price. The Hotel was in a horrible location. No hot water and electricity is turned off by 9 pm. Don’t be fooled it’s plain horrible.

Hi Gabi, We are sorry you are upset and felt the need to leave a bad review for our hotel. When making a reservation, we have multiple standard suite photos and many different types of those rooms. You did not special request the room with the specific photo/artwork mentioned you saw in a photo. When you came here, you said you did not want to stay and we offered a full refund with no fees. Later in the day you came back, stayed in the hotel overnight, and left without making an update to your reservation on Expedia. So we did offer you a room and you stayed here overnight.In a different review you left for us, you said that we did not have rooms available for you to stay in but now you are saying you did stay with us. Hi Waheed,We're sorry you felt the need to leave a negative review because we did not want to approve your last-minute cancellation. When we asked you why you didn't want to stay after requesting a refund, it was not a problem with the electricity but you wanted to go to Beirut for family reasons (stay with your mom) and this is why they could not issue you a refund as the window for cancellation is 24 hours prior to your stay.Limited electricity is currently an issue all over Lebanon, but we have generators working and power/electricity in our rooms. Many other people staying with us were happy with their stay and did not mention anything about electricity or A/C. With this and the 24-hour cancellation policy, we are unable to give a refund. We wish you safe travels!

Try them out!
Good visit, clean and comfortable, had a generator so when local power goes out it kicks back on. Better than another hotel we stayed at. Also staff was very kind and helpful. Good location too, within a reasonable walk to almost everything!

Hi Sam, We're very sorry you feel this way and would leave a bad review. When you came to the hotel, the details you described in your message were not true. We had multiple guests over the past few days and weeks, while you were here and were supposed to check in, leave us great reviews about their stay with no complaints about what you mentioned. When you came to the hotel, you wanted to make a last-minute cancellation because a friend was staying nearby, and you could stay with them. After stating we could not cancel or give you a refund because this was after check-in time for your reservation, you became upset and ultimately left us a bad review. Good location. Just few minutes to go to the nice sea promenade. 10 min. wallet to archeological šitie. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Breskfast served in the room. Comfortable bad. Hot shower. - They realy have everything what is necesary for short stay away from home.

Staff were very nice, the room and the hotel was very clean, parking on site and breakfast was good. Location was ok, you need a car to go to the beach and city centre as the beach next to the hotel was very dirty.

The hotel and staff are very good. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. Beware, however, that the listing on the Expedia site is False. I paid for a room that was advertised as 2 Bedrooms with a King bed in each. Upon arrival I was shown a room with 2 King beds in one bedroom. In order to get the desired room I had to either pay more money or agree not to have breakfast in the morning. This was our only disappointment with the stay.

David was very good guest and his family .regarding issue about two bed room, its was two rooms but two king size in one room, 2nd was living room and dining table,but in total the was two room an way to make our guest happy, we gave my nice guest 3 rooms suite which double cost .with plasure we waiting for your next visit

Exceptional hotel and service
Our family had a wonderful experience at Crown Royal Hotel. The staff was beyond lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic and the cafe served our needs whenever we needed. The rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious for our family with three children. When we had issues with the WiFi, they installed a new system in our room and checked with us to make sure it was working. They even did our laundry. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations -- I'm sure we will be back the next time we visit Tyre!

Great room and awesome service from the employees. The bed was confortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast provided was delicious. Again the service was exceptionnal. I highly recommand Crown Royal Hotel. They really care to make sure everything is perfect.

A great find!!!
The bed was the most comfortable bed that I have stayed in from Tripoli to Tyre! George (owner) was an absolute pleasure and made sure that every detail was taken care of even taking the time on a number of occasions to sit and have coffee with me. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

Für ein oder zwei Tage ist das Hotel ganz ok, jedoch nicht für länger. Wir haben 12 Nächte gebucht mit einem kleinen Kind. Das Hotel wirbt ja damit, besonders bei Familien beliebt zu sein. Die ausgeschriebenen Zimmerbeschreibungen treffen zum Teil auch gar nicht zu. Zimmer werden nur gereinigt, wenn man es sagt. Aber auch dann bekommt man zu hören, dass sie keine Zeit hätten. In den 12 Tagen wurde das Zimmer somit nur 2 mal gereinigt. Aber wahrscheinlich auch nur, weil wir Druck gemacht haben. Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt, außer man kommuniziert es täglich und selbstständig es an der Rezeption. An sich ist es ein modernes Hotel, aus dem man viel mehr rausholen könnte. Der Besitzer ist sehr bemüht, aber er hat eindeutig den Job verfehlt. Dafür sind seine 2 männlichen Angestellten top und versuchen es bei den Gästen gerade zu biegen, was der Besitzer verkackt.
