Property was as described, clean, beautiful wood cabin overlooking a nice river, very private and well equipped for whatever you might need. Plenty of space. The hosts were very communicative and responsive in the lead up to booking and helpful with any questions that arose. Would be willing to book again!
This property provides a great retreat to for anybody who wants a quiet get-away in a beautiful setting. The hosts were wonderful and the cabin provided everything from a well-outfitted kitchen, and a beautiful deck, to summer entertainment on a rainy day. I'm looking forward to another stay soon!

Note: We did not stay at the cottage so this review is just about our communication with the host.
We were visiting from Ottawa and were not able to get to the cabin due to extreme weather conditions and travel advisories not to drive on highways. We contacted the host asking for a rain check or some other way to accommodate us in this situation. She called and we discussed the situation and she said she would get back to us. However we never heard from the host again.
We were disappointed that the host did not at least get back to us about their decision.
Peter was a great host! Property was advertised accurately. We loved the log cabin, it was one request my husband had. Very well decorated. Buffalo plaid, fur ,leather. Gorgeous! Cabin literally had everything we needed. Stocked with plates cups, laundry stuff. Connected my phone to the TV to watch movies. Although had a large collection of dvds. Also had a book shelf with some very good reads. Sitting on the deck and living room was relaxing. Nearest town was Napanee or Belleville. Spent some great quality time with my husband , 11 year old and my sister. Its open concept so we always felt cozy.
Very much would like to return again
Thanks Peter for the great communication
Beautiful place to stay! I recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway from the day to day! 🙂
Well maintained, clean, lots of space, private location with an amazing view. 👍👍👍
Looking forward to the next opportunity or excuse to stay at the place 😃😃
It is a beautiful and comfortable house with spectacular view of Salmon river. All beds are very confortable with good bedding . The kitchen is very good equipped, and there is large deck with a nice dinning table from where we enjoyed a beautiful view of the river.
Our second time here, Peter and Codi never disappoint with their lovely large log cabin. We ventured into nearby Napanee, Picton went to the beach and had a lovely lunch at a local brewery. Cave explorers are also in luck with a nearby attraction!

We loved the place. It had lots of seating areas, and an amazing view of the river which was raging with the springtime thaw. A great place to hang out and relax with friends.
Thanks!
Honestly so many great things to say about this property! First, it's on Native land, with the culture preserved int he cottage decor and amenities. The house itself, is well heated, secluded, incredible water front views. Lastly, the owners are amazing communicators and can be reached at any time. This was truly the most amazing christmas spent with my family, and we look forward to future family gatherings at this cottage. Truly grateful!
The cabin has an amazing upper deck and beautiful views of the of the river. The property is located in a quite area on a large piece of land, so it is very private. It is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
This short stay with friends was lovely. The rustic cabin was very clean, the deck was amazing, the beds were comfortable and overall our stay was great. It is difficult to find private, quiet properties like this one to just get away, and this one felt quite special.
Beautiful and private, with a great river view surrounded by trees. Spacious cabin and all necessary amenities. A short ride to PEC wineries and attractions. We would definately return.
Property is located a little off the beaten track but is still convenient to all that Prince Edward County has to offer. We were a multigenerational group — the kids loved the river and went down everyday to hunt for crayfish with their parents who relaxed in Muskoka chairs alongside. Grandparents stayed up top on the breezy deck reading. There was a hiccup at the beginning of the week with the fridge but Peter was extremely responsive and worked hard to ensure we were happy.
We had a small group of 3 adults stay at this cabin for the weekend. The owners were exceptional at communication and the unit was very well equipped. The property is absolutely beautiful and the location was ideal for us!
The only downside is that there was no wifi- though some might consider this a very big positive!
We would definitely book this property again!
