Expect nothing but the best following a complete renovation In 2017 that brings a nautical experience throughout, sleek and comfy furnishings and all original art. The views are off-the-charts. And the end result feels like “SoHo on the ocean”.
This is the perfect home for family gatherings with spectacular views from the oceanfront living room and dining area. Settle in to the master suite with views of the ocean from your luxurious king size bed and built-in electronic fireplace and large screen tv. Step out on the private deck off the master and enjoy rocking chairs aimed right at cargo ships moving across the horizon towards the port of Savannah. Relax with an air bath in the custom master tub for two.
Enjoy private club privileges with pools and a world class restaurant (“The Deck” – Tybee’s only truly oceanfront restaurant) right next door on the property.
Walk right out the back door through the dunes and you’re on the beach!
Parking is available for up to three cars. The home includes a 2 car garage with 3rd space outside in a private gated lot with NO CROWDS.
Just a short walk or bike ride down the beach to the famous Tybee Lighthouse or the fishing pier on the Strand, it's the perfect location. Pets are welcome with a large park across the street with sand volleyball, tennis and basketball. This property has it all!
You'll find loads of island activities including eclectic shops, museums, biking and fantastic seafood restaurants. This Tybee Island charm is only twenty minutes from historic, downtown Savannah.

This place was exactly what we expected and some! It is right on the beach with it's own access. The beds were super comfy, decor was awesome, views were fabulous! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Tybee.

We stayed here with our family of 9 and absolutely loved this place. Very clean and spacious enough for our family. We loved the ocean front views and the short walk to the beach. Overall great experience and the owner was very quick to answer any questions we had.

We were stunned by the beauty of the home and view when we walked in the door. The home is stocked, clean, and very functional. We had everything we needed provided for us (with the exception of our groceries and personal toiletries) we were just a short walk from restaurants, the beach (literally in the back yard!), a park, and shops. Everything else is just a short drive. We can’t wait to come back!

We looked for the perfect place for our familiy which now includes a 17 month old. We loved the location and it's accessibility to the beach. To walk right out your back door onto the beach is amazing! The view was spectacular and the host responded quickly to all of our questions.

We had a wonderful stay here. We took our college age children- perfect condo for a family with older kids. It had everything we needed. Beach was great-easy to walk and hang out- not too crowded. Great restaurants on the island, but also went into Savannah for dinner there. So easy to stay here- i would highly recommend it!

Checking in was easy and we were so pleasantly surprised that the condo was as lovely as the pictures! Great location on a “private” section of the beach but chairs and umbrellas could be rented. Condo was beautifully decorated and so clean. The beds are the most comfortable STR beds, I’ve ever slept in. Donna was so helpful sec quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The Condo was just as promised, beautiful decor, every amenity you could ask for and the best view. Sixty seconds to the beach. Parking the car inside was a great way to stay cool when you headed out. The pools and Deck restaurant, also sixty seconds, excellent breakfast and seafood dinners. Great art in the property from owner Donna. It was a wonderful stay.

This was our second trip to Tybee Island and our first stay in the Rumsey's property. I can't say enough about their home. It was perfect in every way. Incredible views of the ocean with amazing sun rises every morning, direct access to the beach, and all of the amenities of home. We are already booking it for next year.

We had a nice family spring break trip with two adults, two teenagers and two dogs. The property location was wonderful and had lots of amenities. Overall, Tybee Island and the complex in which the condo is located is not as dog friendly as many other beaches. Dogs aren’t allowed on Tybee beaches, and the complex has a pet relief area that is outside of the gated yard. These aren’t the fault of the property owners in any way, but something to consider if you are bringing dogs. We would return even if we didn’t bring our dogs.

It was nice overall except all the stairs! My dog had to be picked up in order to go outside because of the steep and many stairs! I prefer ground level...I didn’t know it was a townhome either! I prefer a home...Went outside, on the beach side, and people staying there didn’t clean up their dog’s poop! Almost stepped in it several times! The sign says no potty in grass!!! A bit aggravated...

What an unexpected gem Tybee Island is in today's over-commercialized world. I grew up in Miami in the late '70s and '80s and Tybee has the feel of old Key West before all the cruise ships. Having Savannah a short ride away is really two vacations in one. We loved the location, right on the beach. There is a beach chair rental right out your back door which we used to augment our own gear. The beach itself is so unique, the tides really transform the beach twice a day. You get nice waves at high tide and at low you can enjoy a bike ride, run or just put your chair in the shallow sea and enjoy. Make sure you learn the tide schedule each day so you can plan your activities. We have three teenage daughters and had bikes delivered and a golf cart. No need for your car, in fact, Tybee comes alive on the bike trails and zipping around on your cart. We could not get over the friendly nature of the island. Explore the island, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend a kayak tour of Little Tybee, we had no idea of the ecology of this area and were blown away with the beauty. We used Sea Kayak Georgia, had a great guide. We enjoyed some great meals all over the island but the Deck restaurant steps from the rental was fantastic. My wife and I would get the girls settled and enjoy the bar. It was a nice bonus to have such a great spot steps from the rental. The rental itself was as advertised. No issues at all. The location right on the beach is the clincher for this property.
