"Loved our 3 day stay over St.Patty’s weekend. This place is close to everything. 3 min walk to secluded Tybee River beach. Plus, 5 min walk to one of the best restaurants in the island,AJ’s. The Herrons Nest is comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Easy to get a Uber for a jaunt to Savannah. Thank you for a very well hosted stay on Tybee."

"Our first vist to tybee was great. Perfect location. Backyard gave a place to hangout . Outdoor showers were the best. Since our group was 40 and up we had problems with the low toilets and climbing up to bunk beds. All said a good time was had and yes I would stay there again"

"We’ve stayed a few places at this property and around the island as we come almost every year. Have to say this was our favorite so far. Love how they opened it up compared to others. It’s obviously clean and well cared for. And seeing the dolphins all day from the balcony never gets old. Definitely would book this one again!"

"The condo was as pictured!! The bedroom was very small. Which was expected but I prefer windows. Bed was comfortable!! Island was fun. Beautiful view from the balcony!! One suggestion… new patio furniture. Table has metal on the edge and is rusted. Went to Savannah 2 days which was amazing!! Enjoyed dining at Huck a poos and the Crab Shack!! Great food!! If you need to food shop there is an IGA on the island but I also saw a Publix on Rte 80 West when I returned from Boneventure Cemetery!! Only...

"The Desoto is towards the north end of Tybee away from the pier. It is quieter and less crowded usually. The hotel room was very nice. They pillows and bed was very comfortable. It looked as though it had been remodeled in recent years. We walked and rode bikes everywhere."

"Our initial room assignment was dirty and had a fist-punch mark on the wall next to the sink. I don't think it was supposed to be rented out. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We discussed it with the manager and was promptly moved to an upgraded, very clean, room with a kitchenette. That room was very nice. I've seen other complaints about dirty rooms and am wondering if they aren't properly flagged in their database. The cleaning people were around every day going from room to...
