"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort, the staff were lovely and the room was excellent. Our feedback for the hotel would be to offer a little bit of value for money, eg. for $600.00/night, it might be nice to include continental breakfast or free wifi. However, we would love to go back."
"Property was really good, a little dated but it’s in an excellent location for the beach and local resturaunts, would recommend this hotel to others."
"Probably the quirkiest place we have stayed, which is not a negative. The area is very lush foluage-wise. It is a 20 min walk (for us) into Byron Bay where loads of places for breakfast and other meals (esp if you like Mexican!). Waves Byron Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The free coffee, juice and muffins was unexpected and very welcome. Waves was closed to the beach and nowhere in Byron is far away. Friendly and helpful staff."
"Lovely big light filled room with nice big comfortable bed as well as one single bed, nice private patio area at the back, parking is underground, plenty of spaces and free to park, nice and convenient for the town centre which is a 5 minute drive away"
"It was a lovely and clean property with all the equipments you may need. Lots of rooms and spaces.Beautiful location. The only problem was the aircon in the villa downstairs was quite noisy. And the pool is smaller than the photos, pretty much a plunge pool. But good for a quick refreshing."
With sandbar surf breaks, a shipwreck snorkeling site and a safe strip of lifeguard-patrolled ocean waves, it’s easy to see why this beach is favored among locals.
Enjoy magnificent ocean views, learn about shipwrecks and spot dolphins when you visit this historic lighthouse on mainland Australia’s most easterly point.
