This is an old-school "motel style" inn, but it has been updated to modern standards. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a good mix of modern flair and retro utility.
The breakfast offerings are good -- real bacon, sausage, and eggs; pastries, yogurts, and juices. No decaf coffee, though (not important for most people, I suppose).
Great cookies at the front desk.
There's a small outdoor pool and a hot tub, too.
The owners are deeply invested in making the experience good; their passion shows.
We did have a little trouble with getting our room regularly serviced; they were have a bit of an issue with some of their cleaning staff. That can happen and we took it in stride.
