About this property
Private 20 Acres with Wisconsin Creek flowing through the front yard.
Enjoy the ultimate glamping by opening the windows in this beautiful Montana home or use this as your base camp for all your Big Sky adventures. Plan your stay while sitting out on the deck, drinking coffee, and listening to Wisconsin Creek bubbling by. Ruby River fishing access, less than two miles away, offers you a place to cast your line into a blue-ribbon trout stream. A popular Montana wedding venue, the Round Barn is only 6 miles away. About an hour away, you could consider an eastward jaunt to the Lewis and Clark Caverns or a stop at the Missouri Headwaters State Park which is the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin Rivers. Travel south to historic Virginia City and Nevada City and step back into time in an1864 gold mining town, replete with stores stocked or indulge in some Tea and Scandal. Traveling North, you encounter Butte, America with the largest historic district in the United States. Take a trolley tour and see the sites or visit Our Lady of the Rockies for a panoramic view of the Pintlar and Highland Mountains. Traveling west from Butte, you can exit at Anaconda and travel down the Veterans Scenic Highway, past Silver Lake and Georgetown Lake into historic Philipsburg with their turn of the century iron front buildings. Have a homemade ice cream cone from the Philipsburg Creamery and at the end of the day, travel back to the Steakhouse at the Lakehouse for a Philipsburg Brewery Otterwater and a dinner you will talk about for years to come. In the winter, Twin Bridges is located near three alpine ski areas—Maverick Mountain is less than an hour away and one hour and forty-five minutes to the east is Bridger Bowl or one hour and forty-five minutes to the west is Discovery. Less than an hour toward Butte on the old Highway 2 is cross-country skiing or onto Homestake Lodge just beneath the Continental Divide. Breath in winter at its cleanest and clearest. Book your home away from home for fishing, hunting, skiing, and sightseeing. Montana has it all. And we will leave the lights on.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Very spacious and cozy with all the amenities you could need. The town and views are incredible. Host was very easy to communicate with and will certainly take advantage of booking here again.
We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for our adult family of four and our dog. Well equipped, even for Thanksgiving dinner. Really enjoyed the wood stove after spending hours outside. Quiet and peaceful. The only thing that would have made our stay better is to have one more double or queen bed. Our 6 ft tall son doesn’t fit so well in a twin bed anymore. Overall, a delightful experience. Thank you!
Thus is the second year we have stayed here over Thanksgiving to be with family in the valley. The house is older, but meets all our needs. We love the location, with deer in the back yard, and very quiet.
The place is beautiful, the house is excellent, it has all the comforts one wishes for, the house is large. We had a great time I hope to return soon, thanks to the owners who always took good care of us
This is a great place to stay! With a large family room and couple other rooms with couches, this was a wonderful place to gather and visit with our family who live far away. The gazebo is picturesque. We love the creek and the horses that would occasionally be near the fence where we parked the cars. Since we stayed here a few years ago, the hosts have upgraded a few things, such as the washing machine.
We really enjoyed our time there.
The house is very large and comfortable with many sofas and recliners. We were able to keep the house warm even with very extreme outside temperatures (-13 degrees). The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms warm.
Snow drifts were an issue getting down the driveway and parking near the house but we managed.
The location was great, just a few miles from Sheridan and there are great views of the mountains from the windows.

The owner was super great, but the app was the worst. If I could have dealt with him direct from the start then I would have and been happier for the experience.
The area is beautiful and the view wonderful. The house was spacious and had room to spread out with adequate kitchen dishes and seating. The picnic table in the large room was great for our group of 7 and the grill provided was great; the dollhouse, games, and other toys were hours of entertainment for our 3 and 5 year olds. The beds/rooms were as described and worked for a short weekend stay. The kitchen and bathroom were not clean upon our arrival; the overall feel of the house and grounds was tired and everything just needs a good, good cleaning. We enjoyed the time together and spent a day in Virginia City which was a beautiful drive.
Great relaxing setting with close access to great fishing an great little rural MT towns
This location fit exactly what we were looking for a rural relaxing setting for our family to share a little time together and do a little fishing on some iconic MT river that we spend time on every year running down from Helena
We had a wonderful stay. The farm setting made it peaceful and we loved seeing the animals. The owner was helpful and and we felt welcome in his home. There is so much to see in this part of Montana. We loved our time in Twin Bridges.
Excellent Communication from Mark. Property is in an excellent location and a beautiful property. This was a wonderful experience for my Family. I will be using this one again.
Nice house in the country in a quiet neighborhood. The accommodations and furnishings were fun for all ages with games to keep kids entertained and lots of seating for everyone to enjoy conversations and make memories. And great communication from the host with any questions or concerns.
Older house but large with lots of character. Very quite spot with horses in pasture to pet, and pigs down the lane who ran out to greet us on our walk. We were able to invite family from Sheridan to join us for dinner with plenty of room. Two issues needing attention: 1)The shower in the main bathroom is basically unusable as the water is either very hot or very cold and won't stay adjusted. There was a note left from a prior renter noting the same issue. 2) This house is Very hard to find in the dark, especially the first time or if giving directions to others. The mail box, which was the item given in the directions as the indicator to turn at, is black with very faded white lettering. It would be very helpful if paint or large reflecting lettering could be added that would shine in car headlights. We would definitely stay here again, with hopes that the shower was fixed.
This was a perfect property for a group of friends to spend a few days hunting. A great location where we could have privacy and also close to town and the area mountains.
This place was awesome! Beautiful view of the mountains from the gazebo. Every morning was great for wildlife watching. The cats were a nice touch. Secluded, but still relatively close to Twin Bridges and Sheridan.
The owner was very easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed!!! Was so nice to have while we celebrated our daughter’s wedding!!!
Thank you so much!
House was in a quiet and private location. Views were WONDERFUL from the outside gazebo. The fireplace was a HUGE plus as the mornings were cool.
The house has plenty of room for a 3 family gathering. Great location for kids (we did not have any with us but would have been delighted). Lots of room for everyone.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Twin Bridges and will return!
We enjoyed the property, the home was just as advertised and just right for our family. We were concerned about the decrepit play structure in one part of the yard when our grandson came for a visit. And we were very surprised by the cat which lived there and every night jumped into bedroom windows. Dont remember that being listed in the description.
