  • The cottage Sits on 3 acres of land with no other cottages on that side of the lake it is backed onto a forest . It is a five minute drive from town which makes the packing process very easy and enjoyable

This property was perfect. It has its own private space on the lake with no close neighbors. My son is in a wheel chair, and there are a few steps to negotiate with his chair, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Safe place for kids to play. It was the perfect place to stay near Tweed. We would stay here again in the future.

The property was in a beautiful setting - but on the mouth of a river, not the lake. Water was low so lots of weeds. Not good for swimming but great for kayaking or canoeing. A nice fire pit with plenty of chairs near the water. A new deck and stairs and comfortable furniture to sit out on the deck to enjoy the view. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. There was a musty smell when you entered from the lower level - could have used a dehumidifier. House was basically clean except for the bathroom. Bathmat was dirty, taps in the tub were non-functioning, underneath the sink was very dirty. It took 2 or 3 flushes to empty the toilet. There were only 2 bath towels which I had to search for, an iron but no ironing board, There were no garbage or recycling bins or garbage bags. I was told at the end of my stay I had to take the refuse to the local dump (which was closed) I have never been expected to take garbage or recycling to a dump in any property I've ever rented. There were no checkin or checkout instructions provided. The property is in no way wheelchair accessible. There are stairs everywhere. Overall the property could have be a nice rental - especially for a family - but it seemed neglected.

We had a very pleasant stay at the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, has everything we need and more and is in excellent condition. It is very private, right on the lake. Air-conditioning came very handy as the temperature outside was hot, perfect for swimming and being on the water. We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Thank you, Mohamad!

Clean, and beautiful property. Host was great and our toddler was overjoyed when we arrived. It is well maintained and the view from the patio is the real star.
