"Liked the historic hotel. Convenient location and very comfortable bed. Hotel is showing some signs of wear but everything was very clean. Disappointed that breakfast was just a $7 gift voucher to the coffee shop. Would have been great to have a hot cooked meal in the on site restaurant. Would stay again."

"Viking Mountain Lodge is a beautiful spot to get away and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Picture life not so long ago when people enjoyed picnics, fishing, games and family. If the weather is not good, you stillHave a cozy fireplace to read by and a hospitable kitchen to cook and converse with one another. A truly great place to escape!"

"Day staff was friendly, evening staff a little brusk. AC was fine. Room was in desperate need of a remodel. Furniture was broken, damaged and not clean, the refrigerator never got cold and always had water sitting in it like a leak or something The sheets and towels were clean and we appreciated that. The toilet was so low you practically fall onto it they need a safety bar to help get up and down. The whole room was dingy and stained carpet and tub . I would not stay there again. The business center is a storage room and the gym was dirty and had a broken AC unit sitting in the middle. "

"It’s pretty much quiet for the most part, that’s why I extended my stay. Microwave didn’t work in my room so maintenance brought another and that one didn’t work either."

"What a unique and wonderful place to stay! We loved waking up and having coffee on the front porch watching the horses! Honestly, the view every time we walked out the door or looked out the window was just beautiful! Such a rustic cabin with all the modern conveniences, the retrofitted stove was my husband’s favorite!"
