"The house in Castel St Elia is truly an authentic and unique place, the host is detail oriented, very accommodating and communicative. The house has everything you need, even a mini popcorn machine and dishwasher. We traveled with our dog and cooked dinners at the house and felt very comfortable. The view is amazing, so is access to town, many churches and hiking trails into the valley. If you are a true hiker you can take the 4.5km trail to Nepi which is the neighboring worth visiting."

"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"Patrizia was a wonderful hostess with very clear instructions about our meet up and the apartment. She was very patient despite the language barrier and used Google Translate to make sure we understood her answers to our many questions. The apartment was very clean and well stocked for kitchen use, which we didn’t take advantage of since we only stayed one night. The bed was firm and comfortable, perfect for our first night sleep in Italy. We had a wonderful stay!"
