"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property on Lake Owaseo in Minnesota! The location is fantastic—right on the water and close to wonderful restaurants, Target, shopping, sporting events, Bethel College, and several other colleges in the area.The home itself is beautifully renovated and thoughtfully decorated. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and every detail made the space feel warm, inviting, and relaxing. Being right on the lake was amazing, with a hot tub, kayaks, paddleboard, dock, and fire pit—everything you could want for a peaceful getaway.Our host was wonderful, accommodating, and always willing to help. They were also conveniently close by if we needed anything, which made our stay completely stress-free.It truly was a beautiful spot, and we would highly recommend staying here. We would absolutely love to come back!"

The home was thoughtfully decorated, impeccably maintained, and stocked with every essential, plus many extra touches that made our stay especially comfortable.The highlight for us was the amazing porch and outdoor sitting area. We spent each morning enjoying coffee, taking in the beautiful views, and watching the occasional wildlife. When the weather warmed up, Becky even brought additional fans to keep us comfortable outdoors, which was greatly appreciated.While the home itself was fantastic, Becky's exceptional hospitality made our experience even better. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. We highly recommend both this property and Becky as a host!"

"We had a fantastic stay at **The Nest on Lake Johanna** and wouldn't hesitate to book it again the next time we're in the Twin Cities.The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely updated, with everything we needed for a great vacation. Our favorite spot was the balcony overlooking the lake. We started most mornings there with a cup of coffee and ended many evenings relaxing while enjoying the peaceful view.The location was perfect for us. The nearby park has a nice beach and several hiking trails that we really enjoyed exploring. One of the best parts of our stay, though, was all of the wildlife. We saw a variety of birds and other animals, but the bald eagles stole the show. We were lucky enough to watch a mother and her juvenile almost every day as they flew over the lake and dove down to catch fish. It was an amazing experience and something we'll always remember.We also traveled with our two dogs, and the small fenced yard was a huge bonus. It gave them a safe place to get outside and made the stay even more enjoyable for all of us.Overall, this is one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in. It was quiet, relaxing, and in a beautiful setting, yet still close to everything we wanted to do around the Twin Cities. We'd definitely recommend The Nest to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we hope to stay here again in the future."
