"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped and spacious. The view was awesome! Very convenient to walk the little town and to grab the shuttle to Mackinac Island. The decor was a bit dated but otherwise a very nice stay."

"Beautiful lake view room which we enjoyed the balcony, sunrise, sunset & watching guests enjoy the fire pits every night! Breakfast was different every day with the hot food selections. Enjoyed being down the road from the heart of the crowds, but walked easily to the boat shuttle to Mac Island."

"The coffee in the room!! There was only one pack of coffee and directions said it would make four cups!! NO WAY!!! I used the cups that were there for the coffee and used 2 cups of water. YOU COULD SEE THRU THE COFFEE!!! No way could it have possibly made four cups unless someone did not like the taste of coffee!! 2 packages should always be left in the room regardless of regular or decaf! The 2 packages can be put together for a fairly decent cup of coffee!"

"I had wanted to go to Mackinac Island for years and finally had the opportunity to do so this year. The front porch of the motel with its cool breeze and rocking chairs provided a beautiful view of the Lake and ships out in the water. The fire pits on the lawn were awesome at night as we sat around and talked with other guests of the motel. The room was clean, the staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was great. We plan to return."

"A quiet, relaxing stay with beautiful lake view. Take time to wander the island especially the inland lakes. Fully stocked property - kitchen had everything you'd need, beach towels, bug spray(we didn't need), even firewood & binoculars were supplied. Friendly people everywhere we went. No northern lights this visit but a million stars! Go to enjoy the slower pace and people you're with!"
