"Beautiful room and helpful staff, but, unfortunately, the view was not what I expected. I booked a room with a lake view. The room provided was first floor with the windows frosted so those waiting in line for the ferry couldn’t see in. And we couldn’t see out. There was a door to a tiny terrace where the water could be seen, between two docks. I give credit to the staff who tried to find more acceptable lodgings but no rooms with a lake view were available. The hotel staff blamed Expedia. The post of the room booked was misleading in how Expedia presented it. Anyway, the hotel is still wonderful."

"This is the best stay on the Island. Enjoy dinner and entertainment at the Grand Hotel but stay here. Everything moment was a joy. Renting bikes from the inn, enjoying a late evening outdoor fire with kits for s’mores, clean and comfortable room with a balcony and view and a delicious breakfast each day. We’ll be coming again with friends and family."

"Spent summers as a young kid on the Island, so this was a lifelong dream to come back and share it with my husband. Mr. Stuckey was great on communication - and the trip was wonderful. There were a few cobwebs around, but it's an older home, so there's that. Didn't know that there was no heat, but he let us know there were space heaters, so we used those and had no problem. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property and Mr. Stuckey - we had a wonderful time!"

"A quiet, relaxing stay with beautiful lake view. Take time to wander the island especially the inland lakes. Fully stocked property - kitchen had everything you'd need, beach towels, bug spray(we didn't need), even firewood & binoculars were supplied. Friendly people everywhere we went. No northern lights this visit but a million stars! Go to enjoy the slower pace and people you're with!"
