Paradise Point Cottage on Weslemkoon Lake

Are you seeking adventures, hiking, swimming, fishing and/or camp fires?

Imagine lying on a sun drenched dock, and being pampered with the sounds of nature at your own unique, water access only, cottage! Add family and friends, burgers on the BBQ, cold drinks in hand and sunsets in the evening-this is the quintessential Canadiana cottaging experience.

Located on Weslemkoon Lake, Paradise Point is the stay you are looking to book for your next vacation, as it will take your breath away.

THE SPACE:

Paradise Point is a WATER ACCESS ONLY cottage. This means you need to own a boat, or use the pay per use water taxi service offered by Weslemkoon Marina.

Once you arrive at the cottage you will be greeted by nearly 150ft of, relatively flat, water frontage. You will see the outdoor fire pit, x2 bunkies, x2 outdoor eating areas, BBQ, south facing dock and the glorious main cabin.

Inside the main cabin is the dining area, living room with indoor fireplace, bar, kitchen, entertainment room with wood stove and piano, tv room, x3 bedrooms and x2 bathrooms.

GUEST ACCESS:

The cottage is accessible by water only. You must own a boat that you can launch at the marina, or use the pay per use water taxi offered by Weslemkoon Marina.

Once you are on the property you have access to everything:
- Main Cabin
- Bunkies
- Wood-fired Sauna
- Outdoor Fire Pit
- X2 Docks

There are cottages to the left and right of Paradise Point, there aren't any fences to mark property lines. Please be mindful of how close you are getting to neighbouring properties as we are all trying to enjoy the slice of heaven that is Weslemkoon Lake.

There is one canoe and two paddles that is part of the cottage for you to use. Maximum capacity is two people. Two adult sized life vests are provided and MUST be worn while using the canoe.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

It is important to note that this is NOT a drive access cottage.

You can only access this cottage by boat. There is no boat provided, so you must have your own that you can launch at the marina. If you do not have your own boat you are able to use the pay per use water taxi service offered by Weslemkoon Marina.

One bundle of fire food is available for free with the rental. If you would like more, it is available to purchase on site.

Some decor has been updated in the cottage since photos were taken.

This cottage is NOT intended for any parties or loud late night gatherings. Our neighbours are not very close but certainly within earshot and even more so on a calm evening - sound travels! We expect our guests to respect that others around them are there in cottage country for peace and quiet and they most certainly will return the favour. The sauna and firepit area in particular is somewhere that tends to be an evening gathering place so we ask you to be mindful of your noise level after 10pm.

Family vacation

Amazing dock to sit on - kayaks to go out in - gorgeous views from every window - beautiful setting in that we had a lot of space to hang out inside and out. The woods and the lake were great for my son to explore and he loved the rope bridge - he is 15 and loves to hike and kayak so he was having a blast! Little hard to navigate the boat and finding the cabin on such a big lake but I got better at my boating and sense of direction on the water. Everyone that helped me when I got lost and Michael the pontoon boat owner that let me rent his boat was awesome at teaching me the lay out of the lake. We had a blast!
