Property Good, Communication Bad

The unit was great. Clean and well maintained. Sonoran Suites, however, was not very good in communication. I had to contact them to find out if they received the required up-front information. When we arrived, the TV and wi-fi were not working. I called and left a message and never received a call back. I left an initial review on Hotels.com about the disappointment in the lack of wi-fi which received a response saying it would be taken care of directly. Never happened. We wanted the location which was close to our son and his family. We were busy most of the time and used the property's computer room when we had to get online. It just would have been nice to pop on the TV when we had some down time. Overall, due to the lack of response, I would not rent through this company again.

We arrived just after 3pm and found the a.c. turned off. Not nice on a 109 degree tucson day. We also found that the internet and tv were not hooked up. I emailed the person handling at Sonoran Suites and no response. I called and the person tol me that his manager contacted XFINITY and that service should be retored in 2 hiurs. It wasnt. I asked them to have the manager call me, they didnt. We chose to leave this place and tequested they not charge us for the stay after the poor service we recieved.they emailed me three hours later stating that they would charge me because service was restored.this was more than 5 hours after we checked in and nearly three hours after i asked for the manager to call me.ver poor customer service, we will not make theis mistsake again!

Location is away from down town Tucson, very nice. It was very quiet. Parking is confusing since it is an actual apartment complex. Cable was out but called and they fixed it right away. I would stay there again. We only stayed one night but for several days to week, would be perfect.

Ended up being a condo (I thought was Hotel and check in closed at 5pm so I had to call... then go onto Url and register and agree to use conditions and submit. Then got unit # and lockbox code. Very cumbersome after driving 10 hours and wanting to just settle in. Nice enough condo and price okay. Had I know at time of booking... i’d Have gotten a standard hotel.

Obsolete equipments, appliances and facilities

- The city area is fine, the condo dimensions as well. The furniture, passable. - The two bathrooms facilities, a real shame: incredibly obsolete and malfunctioning (bath tub and shower). - The TV sets: just two of the flat-screen type (one medium-sized in the living room and one small in the master bedroom); and in a secondary bedroom, one that you would have to travel back in time to the late 1980s in order to buy a new one. - Parking: only in uncovered spaces, which is discourteous to the rent payer. Maybe fine for visitors.

Not a spot to show up after dark

A nice stay comfortable but no hotel staff to ask quesions a lot of figuaring out what is going on by your self. . Kind of some of the future of travel would compeat with air bb well. If you are comming in late a conventional hotel is better you can be told what is going on and ask questions. We had a lot of our stuff planed so went well.

Nice enough place, but needs improvements

The area is nice but not close to restaurants, etc. The condominiums are nice and roomy. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. I liked the ease of check-in. The condo was clean enough. I noticed small things like un-emptied trash in bathroom, tags and debris left in drawers from previous tenants. One bedroom had a small old style tv, but it worked. The master bedroom had a newer tv, but we couldn't get it to work. This was frustrating. I hated the 10:00 A.M. checkout time! We were afraid to stay even a minute later due to threat of large fees being charged. Dishes had th be washed and put away (or extra charges) so we had to hand wash, otherwise, we had to wait for dishwasher to run and we didn't have time. It was a pricey place to stay and with a few upgrades, it would be much improved. On the plus side--the fitness center is nicer than the usual hotel fitness center. The positives: quiet, safe, and roomy. The negatives: pricey, not thoroughly cleaned, old fashioned tv and non-working tv, lists of rules to follow with threat of extra charges, and 10:00 A.M. checkout time.

Serrano family vacation

Me and my family loved our stay it was a home away from home. Huge apartment with comfy beds, huge kitchen, outside patio everything to make you feel comfy. I totally recommend this location and look foward to going back.

Cute, quiet, no services

1) no staff to greet you or help with difficult lockbox. 2) no one answers after hours phone calls for assistance 3) room saturated with cigarette smoke smell 4) beautiful room, nicely decorated, quiet area, well stocked kitchen 5) sheets are dingy as mentioned in other evaluations, I am not certain they were fresh, we brought our own.
