"Beautiful minshuku within walking distance to Shibu onsen Main Street. The staff are friendly and kind, welcoming us like family. Food was delicious and plentiful. The star of the stay was the absolutely amazing outdoor onsen! Would be better if the room has blackout curtains but that is a small quibble "

"Loved my stay at Hotel Housei. Yamanouchi is one of my favourite places in Japan and this is a great place to stay as it is within walking distance of Yudanaka and Shibu Onsen. Hotel Housei provides shuttle service to Snow Monkey Park and Ski areas nearby.
Dining and breakfast options were great.
I must also mention the staff is very English-friendly which made things very easy for me. "
