"Akita and Rei were great hosts. Their house was fully stocked with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The house was located at a quiet neighborhood. You could walk to the beach and fishing port. We met locals who were really nice to lend us fishing poles for our stay. You could feel the real Japanese daily life and hospitality during the stay. Highly recommended for travelers who love experiencing the Japanese culture."

"Staying at Wakka is a complete delight! The infrastructure is buikt to be part of the natural environment. The staff are a delight. The bikes for rental are top quality. The half board meal is full of varieties and locally sourced ingredients. My biggest concern was the shared shower facility, but Wakka kept everything clean and spotless. It's simply a delightful place to stay in and rejuvenate. In fact, our family is planning another glamping stay with them again. "

It was advertised that there was a restaurant and even on a chalkboard outside, there were daily specials written but we were told there was no food for purchase. This was a challenge given the remote location of the hostel and that restaurants closed very early. We did find a grocery store that closed at 7pm. "2歳の子連れで朝食なしの素泊まりで2泊しました。 施設は古そうでしたが清掃が行き届いているし、お部屋も共用部分も広々としていてとても快適に過ごせました。何より驚いたのが無料の貸出グッズの豊富さです。ヘアアイロンから子供のグッズまでたくさん網羅していて感動しました。ほとんどホテルにいなくて利用するタイミングは無かったのですが、ちょっとした小さい子用の遊べるスペースにも色んなおもちゃがあって子供も喜んでました。色んな場面でホテルからのおもてなしの気持ちが感じられて次は朝食付けてホテルを満喫する予定でまた来たいと思いました。"
