I was a little skeptical about the Westgate. They are really doing a great job! The room decor is maybe a little on the corny side, but very clean and super functional. My upgraded room had a fun bar with a coffee maker dishwasher sink. Things that I haven't seen in many of the rooms I've stayed. All the staff was super helpful. There were lots of amenities that I didn't get to try, but it really is just as good as many of the higher priced places on the strip.

People who check in after midnight should be reminded that there are other guests in the nearby rooms sleeping!!! I was woken up by very loud people checking in around 1:00am

Staff was rude and bathroom wasn’t that clean

Pros : Clean hotel and spacious rooms. Amazing food at Carversteak, Wally's and Brezza (restaurants on site). Cons : Very limited seating around the pool (without extra charge) and not enough umbrellas. Pool service very slow and food options at the pool are limited (tacos and burritos). The resort could use some more modern touches (blinds and curtains cannot be opened automatically, no light switch next to the bed, no vent in bathroom, no electronic dnd switch, etc.) and more healthy food options.
