Great house for a family getaway

We are a family of four from the East Coast with two pre-teens and the house suited us well in terms of space and location. It was very clean and we appreciated having access to the washer dryer given the duration of our time out West. We also marveled at how easy check out was, given that many rental properties expect guests to complete a length list of tasks before checking out.

An Amazing Ski Chalet

5 Stars across the board. Excellent location, excellent communication and the amenities were exactly as described. Check-in was easy, and the information provided by the host was very helpful. Star of the show was the North Star shuttle service which got you from the door of the chalet to the gondola in 20 minutes.

The location was great. The property was in a very good condition and was clean. There were a few spots in the kitchen that needed more attention. The surrounding area was quiet and there was a golf course across the street that was great for walking. The pool area was a bit further that was not easy to walk to with kids since you need to walk by the road. Our biggest concern were the steps up to the loft inside the property. They were very steep and kind of hard to climb up and down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Scott, our host, was available for questions and responded quickly.

Northstar

Clean and accurate listing. Northstar shuttle picks you up right outside of the house (using Northstar app to request ride). Had everything we needed. I’m big on temperature control as it can get really dry in Tahoe during the winter with the heat on. The temperature control and humidity was quite good. Water pressure for the shower was strong. Sofa is new and the Pull out sofa bed is sturdy and comfortable. 3 twin beds in the loft area and 2 king beds in each downstairs rooms were all very comfortable. Scott (host) was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check in / out.
