"Very unique lake front property. Historic lodge interior restoration was very tastefully done. The motel, where we stayed, is a step back in time. Motel rooms, done in their original midcentury modern decor, were spacious, comfortable and clean. Some of the outdoor amenities includes kayaks, fire pit, corn hole game, private beach area and nature trail. We appreciated the host’s call on the day of check in, giving us check in info and dining options. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!"

"The privacy of having our own beach was what made us pick this location. The deck with a BEAUTIFUL view made it all worth it. My daughter and I build a "rock rainbow" from all of the beautiful Lake Superior rocks we found. Would stay again! "

"Beautiful cabin on a private lake. Cabin was very clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. The hostess responded to text quickly and was so helpful and gracious. Would definitely stay again! Will also recommend to others traveling up that away. The only comment i would have is, and this is not a negative comment, is there is no wifi or TV. Phone reception was very limited. There is so much to see and do in that area that you really don't miss it until you return in the evening. If you want to unplug, it's perfect!"

"Check in was easy, we had the code before we arrived. The property is beautiful! The photos don't get across just how beautiful the view is and how wonderdul the lake is! We brought our kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the beautiful lake, seeing the loon family, heron, ducks & geese everyday. The stars are amazi ng at night! The house has a big kitchen with plenty of space for everyone to move around comfortably. It's stocked with everything you'd need. Nice big family room. Our bedroom was huge, but did not have a closet or a dresser and we had to live out of our suitcases. Some rooms have a bit of storage space, some do not. Master sweet is great with a perfect view of the lake. If you like it dark when you sleep, bring a sleep mask. Hosts are very quick to respond and were very understanding when we had an incident with a window. This was a great find! Frenchman Lake is fabulous! "
