Winner!
We spent 6 nights at this VRBO and loved it! The house is absolutely cozy and relaxing. Tom the owner goes above and beyond to accommodate. The location is perfect for a trip to Bryce Canyon. The location is in a quiet and safe area. Tom allowed us to bring our horses and we did 6 amazing rides. We wouldn’t hesitate to come stay here again.

Cozy Farmhouse
The farmhouse was a perfect size for our group of 4, plus one pup. For us, the best feature was the large yard. We were able to sit outside in the morning and evening, enjoying our beverages while the pup ran around the spacious yard. During the day we explored Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin State Park which were not too far from the house. Lovely house, great location.

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, historic house. Great yard for our dog. The host was superb, helping us with road conditions as we checked out right after snow. An oasis just far enough from Bryce Canyon crowds but still close.

Fun visit to Bryce!
The little town of Tropic is a great base for visiting Bryce. This house is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to the downtown amenities. We loved the Canyon Coffee shop and the IDK BBQ place! Our accommodations were comfortable enough in a vintage style Bathroom and kitchen are well equipped. Very homey.

Just as advertised. A great, old farmhouse with a fantastic yard and lots of charm. I grew up in an old house so felt right at home. The dogs loved the yard. It was the perfect place to chill after a day hiking at Bryce.

Heart of Red Rock Country
Had a very relaxing stay at this cozy, rustic farmhouse. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to lots of parks. Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome State Park, Red Canyon and my favorite Fairyland Canyon (just before the entrance to Bryce Canyon on your left) are all within about 25 minutes. Each of them are beautiful and well worth the visit. Also check out the waterfall at Mossy Cave. I thought the grocery store in Tropic was the best stocked in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable home near lots of adventure
My wife, myself, and our dog stayed in this home for a week. We did several fun hikes in the area, including Willis Creek Slot Canyon, Cascade Falls, Kodachrome State Park, and Ashdown Gorge. It was really nice to have 2 full baths, a full kitchen, and a big bed. The fridge kept things refreshingly cold, and the pizza place in town was surprisingly good. Our dog loved the yard, and the 3 of us sat out on the front porch every evening while we ate dinner. My wife and I both worked part-time while we were there and didn't have any problems with the internet. It was reliable and worked just fine for video meetings (simultaneous) and remote desktop needs. One of our favorite memories is sitting on the front porch and hearing the fruit drop from the trees. A very uncommon experience for us!

Awesome farmhouse
Loved our stay at the 1930 farmhouse. There was more than enough space for four adults, beds where very comfortable, we had more than enough towels. Loved having breakfast in the quaint kitchen. We enjoyed coming home after a day of hiking and relaxing on the porch, and enjoy some quiet time, we were visited by deer and lots of birds. Had dinner at the Rustler on our first night, delicious food and very friendly service. On our second night we dined at the Pines, also delicious especially the pies! Tom was wonderful to work with, he provided lots of useful information which made our stay much more pleasant. One of the best owners I’ve dealt with, thank you Tom! Just a few minutes from Bryce Canyon park it was the ideal place for us!

Quaint Historic home in peaceful town close to Bryce Canyon
This cozy farm house has all the basics and is a 15 minute drive from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. MUCH preferred staying here to the more touristy options closer to the canyon. Beautiful front yard with fruit trees blooming in the front yard. Great bird watching just sitting on the front porch. Town has a small grocery store and a handful of restaurants.

Country relaxation
My family and I wanted to do something different for the Thanksgiving holiday, go somewhere quiet, quaint, and we wanted to take our dogs. We decided on Tropic UT because this little farm house checked off all the boxes and was near Bryce Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the dogs. We would recommend staying at the farm house to anyone wanting to feel at home and cozy in a place away from home.

Farmhouse
My husband and I had a very comfortable stay at the farmhouse. There are some rooms that could use some updating ( kitchen and bathrooms), but the house was clean and warm and the king-size bed was comfy. And we thought the wood pellet stove was wonderful. The outdoor temperature dropped into the 30s the day after we arrived; the stove kept us warm. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the TV has many options. Tom was an excellent host. He responded almost immediately to any questions or requests we sent him. He also went above and beyond the call of duty replacing the washing machine which had stopped working, spending more than half day trying to get the original machine to work, then finding a another machine and installing it when the original couldn’t be repaired. This is a good place for families to stay, only 8 miles from Bryce and 1/2 hour from Grand Escalante.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very comfortable. A short drive to Bryce Canyon NP and a longer drive to Grand Staircase Escalante. Both locations are awesome. The cottage is quite old and quirky but is well equipped. We loved watching the deer in the garden tucking in to the fruit that had fallen from the trees

So happy to be back!
This was our second stay at this delightful Tropic farmhouse, and it was just as wonderful as our first. This time, though, there was a beautiful doe that came in and out of the yard throughout each day to eat apples and rest in the shade of the tree they fell off of! Icing on the cake!! I can’t recommend this sweet house enough!! Visited Bryce and Zion again as well. Just breathtaking! 🏡❤️

Great Location with Easy Access to Bryce
We had a wonderful experience during our stay in Tropic. The deer were literally outside our door. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to the entrance of Bryce. The check-in / check-out process was extremely simple. I would stay here again if I was coming back to Bryce with a group of anywhere from 2-6 people (maybe even 8 if a couple were kids).

We loved this peaceful farmhouse!
Tom's house is lovely. It's an old-fashioned farmhouse, but with good mattresses and updated electrical and plumbing. The porch swinging chair looks out onto a large lawn. It's not far to Bryce Canyon, so you can beat the crowds or go back in the evening, and the town of Tropic itself is small but has what you need. We enjoyed the Tropic 4th of July fair, complete with a pie eating contest.
