"The food was a wonderful surprise. Location without a car made it challenging with poor weather for walkers to get up to the village. As far as the room it was clean and simple. Giovanni was most attentive in the restaurant, but Paola was unbelievable. We watched his attentiveness with great admiration. Really made the restaurant feel special which in turn translated to the patrons. "

"The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations at Sui Generis! We absolutely loved that it was boutique and intimate yet with a luxury feel. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the room was very spacious! The two cleanings a day was such a treat. The hotel will also provide you pool & beach towels to use which was very nice. It is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the lively city centre. I would highly recommend them for any visit to Tropea, we would definitely stay here again :)"

"This property is a 30-minute walk or an 8-minute drive from the main town area, making it convenient for visiting or dining out. It’s a gated property with ample car parking, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The rooms are adequate but sparsely decorated, with painted floors and no tiles on the bathroom walls. The furnishings are similar to IKEA. The TV is small, and the Wi-Fi bandwidth is excellent, allowing for easy streaming and FaceTime. However, the walls between units don’t provide much sound insulation, which is unacceptable, we could easily hear our neighbour snoring and other unwanted noises. The breakfast is homemade and delicious, prepared by the ladies on site."
