The hotel provided breakfast, finka (coffee , tea, sweet) and dinner ... very well done! The people at the desk were very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful stay!

We just came back from our week stay at the grand Olav. We had a great time. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The breakfast was the best as was the dinner. We enjoyed the coffee machine anytime we wanted some it was there to use. I was worried about not having AC. Being from Texas, USA in August- we need AC. But the room was comfortable with the portable fans they provided. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is an excellent hotel by all measures. The location is perfect for Trondheim tourism and the music scene. The reception staff could are terrific. They had so many helpful tips for getting around Trondheim and where to eat and drink. The breakfast and dinner buffet are very good (and given the prices of restaurants in Norway, a real money saver). My room had a wonderful view of the city.

Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful at all times. The place was perfectly located and very roomy and comfortable. With food for Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner include in the cost of the room.

Good insight features.

This exceeded our expectations. We stayed here 2 nights towards the end of a fairly long trip on our way to Bodø and were a bit tired. We were delighted to discover that our stay included a buffet breakfast, an afternoon Fika—coffee/tea and a sweet baked treat—and a modest dinner buffet. Very relaxing to just wander down to the lobby at meal times. There is a small mall with a food court connected to the hotel as well. The staff were lovely. The room was spacious with a view into the atrium of the concert hall next door. There is a single self-serve washer and dryer available. Reasonably well located. Full marks for the shower, the floor of which was nicely textured negating any fear of slipping. We would like to urge this property and all the others to include in their design of the curb, separating the bathroom from the hall, some eye-catching design or decoration to alert weary travelers to it to avoid unpleasant and potentially dangerous tripping incidents. Like all the hotels we stayed in on our trip in the Netherlands and Norway, the arrangement of having duvet/comforter to sleep under meant we were too hot at night. Adjusting the thermostat did not seem to help. However the room was supplied with two electric fans which did help as I removing the comforter from it’s cover and using that as our top cover.

Siamo stati qui con la formula che include colazione, spuntino pomeridiano e cena. Devo dire che l'hotel è di alto livello, nonostante i prezzi accessibili per Trondheim, la stanza è grande, anche se leggermente carente di illuminazione, la struttura è bella e il cibo è di ottima qualità, ottimo anche per gli italiani (abbiamo mangiato anche un'ottima insalata di pasta). Consigliato!

Ett trivsamt hotell, nära till Trondheim Sentral och centrala Trondheim. Mycket trevlig personal. God frukost och bra kvällsmat. Allmänbelysningen i rummet kunde varit bättre. Toalettstolen satt väldigt lågt. Vi är väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse.

Excelente hotel. El desayuno es correcto y suficiente. El personal destaca por su amabilidad: una chica del servicio de cenas, de origen portugués, fue especialmente atenta, amable y encantadora. En recepción, una joven de origen chileno también nos atendió con gran amabilidad y profesionalismo. En general, todo el equipo fue muy cordial. Como punto a mejorar, la habitación no se limpia a diario a menos que lo solicites expresamente, lo cual sería importante aclarar desde el inicio. Aun así, sin duda repetiría. ¡Muy recomendable!
