Check-in was fast and easy. I had an initial problem with my first room but the staff member at the front desk quickly resolved the issue. The location was excellent and for the price - the value is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A budget hotel This must be kept in mind as there is a basic reception, no other ‘hotel’ facilities It needs some updating re decor Flooring is badly marked, giving it a ‘dirty’ appearance, I never checked if it was My bedding did have holes Bathroom is without extractor or window Curtain s on windows great Kitchen to prepare and eat in, fantastic They also provide laundry facilities, as well as iron and ironing board If you can cope with the very tired appearance of hallways and your room, for the price it’s good Excellent location and fact you can eat in, have breakfast, store food and drink won it over for me, ten minutes from train station, by foot, airport bus stops outside You even get a 15% discount from next door bakery which is fabulous

Low price for a reason
Presentation is very poor, hallways need vacuuming, doors dirty and on entering your bedroom you can see that no one ‘inspects’ cleaning staff after they finish a room Bedding is clean but mine had ‘small burns’ like cigarette size Towels are very thin I tried to hang mine in rail in bathroom and half of this came off the wall On opening the fridge it had not been cleaned inside and seal aling too not for some time

I strongly recommend that people do not stay here. I am a vegetarian and there was nothing except salad for the 30 euro dinner buffet. The closest restaurant is about an hour away. When I tried to leave a day early because of this, I was denied. This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced.

It’s ok!
The location is very good. In the night can get a bit noisy. I hated the fact I booked ”king size” bed on the hotels.com app and the room was a “2 Very light twin beds pushed together” situation, one of the curtains didn’t close completely. Only one side of the bed had available plugs. It’s nice that they give out coupons for a bakery close by; since they don’t have breakfast which is OK. The free coffee and tea In the reception is also a nice compensation. The staff is nice; for sure. All in all, it’s ok.

was under the impression that all rooms had a kitchenette. My mistake. Only the apartments do. I made a reservation with that in mind, planning to buy stuff at the local fishmarket (which is a market in name only). The kitchen is a common facility, small and dark. Our room was a tiny, dull, depressing pit with a cracked door frame and wires sticking out of the ceiling in place of a light fixture. The room was so small the two twin beds could hardly fit there. Wi-fi was a disaster with the constantly disappearing signal. Street parking is $3.50 p/h, free from 8 pm to 8 am only. The front desk are not aware of the nearest (and the cheapest) parking garage Bilhuset Ola Brun and offer you to park on the other end of downtown. The location is central, true, across the street from the royal apartments, but since downtown Trondheim is about 1 km in diameter it makes any other hotel in town centrally located. So considering that a decent breakfast for two would cost you a least $50 you would be better off staying at a hotel providing breakfast. There are more hotels than tourists in Trondheim and at a better price than this dump so you have plenty of choice. Avoid it by all means.

Hi, thank you for you feedback. Sorry to see that you where not happy about your stay. We normaly recomend parking in Prinsensgate that are closest to the hotel. But Ola Brun parking is also a great offer nearby if you wish to driva e little further. Sorry about the wifi isues, the hotel has now got a new supplyer that gives us better wifi. We hope that guests use our common kitchen if they want to make their own food and avoid resturant cost. Our biggest double rooms are the rooms with kitchen, or our apartements. Hope that you will try one of these roomtypes the next time you are in Trondheim. Welcome back.

This place is good for the price. Very centrally located, and has tiny kitchen facilities. Don't choose it if you need something more stylish and nice. It was perfect for us. Minor negatives: the reading lamp didn't work on one side (lighting is weird in general). Bed springs were broken on one side so the mattress sunk in.

Great location. Very Nice Staff.
The location of this hotel can't be beat. It was very comfortable, and a 10 minute walk to Nidaros Cathedral. Actually, we felt like we were a 10 minute walk from anywhere. It was really central- 10 minutes walk to Baklandet. There was a small refrigerator in our room, and we were so pleasantly surprised that we had access and use of a fully equipped kitchen on the second floor. There was even a laundry room to use for free! It was a really great stay, and the staff was extremely helpful.

Short/longer stay-City Living Schøller Hotel
The hotel is easy to reach from the airport and is located in a central and calm area. The staff is friendly. In the morning there is complementary coffee or tea at the reception. The room was a good size with only basic furniture but was OK for a short trip. I saw there were many guests for a longer stay. It may be good idea as there is a kitchen on the second floor and a laundry room on the fourth.

Trondheim is a beautiful city
We stayed at this hotel on a busy Saturday night when every room in the city was sold out due to a music championship at the Olavshallen Concert Hall. We are thankful we got a room, and we were very happy with the central location of this hotel, and the friendly girls at reception.

We loved the location. Room was clean, and adequate. Did not like the price change. Had prepaid for room then had to pay extra 29 kroners when we arrived for new taxes. Booked king bed, given queen. Overall, staff were friendly , and was a great place to stay. Would definately stay there again.

We had booked for a family of 4 but only one bed was in the "apartment". Within 20 minutes this was fixed by giving us an extra room.

Great Location and price to Stay
City Living Scholler is located very centrally, and it is near the train station. The room was also excellent. I give it a bad rating, though, because Expedia told us we would be given 4 single beds in our room, but there were only 2. It turns out City Living does not have any rooms with 4 beds. Expedia lied to us, and this made for an uncomfortable squeeze.

The hotel told us they were closing for Christmas/ New Year just before we got there (after we had booked 3 weeks earlier). They had an arrangement with Comfort Hotel Park and so we steyed there. It is a good hotel.

Great, great, great location! I can't stress that enough, close to everything. You wont find a better price for what you get either. The staff were pleasant. The bathroom had a heated floor which was awesome since we stayed in late November and it was newly renovated too. Sometimes the shower did not have much hot water. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was that our room was much smaller than the photo we saw when we booked it. Because we were staying for 8 nights, and had a lot of luggage, that made things a little difficult, but we managed.

Good WiFi, upgraded room but this is a "we have a great location, how can we fill the rooms the cheapest way" hotel. After turning on / off every switch in the room I found the main switch top right from the door. Water flooded when showering, shower curtains from the year the hotel was built and the bed was OK at the best. Avoid if you can.
