A note for other guests that this property isn't directly on the lake and access is a bit down the road (although I think this is mentioned in the listing description). "

"We had a great time. Nice to be back on Brandy Pond. Big house accommodated our large family. Nice dock. Water is amazing. Large lawn between house and water. Ideal for campfires and sports. "

"The house was very clean and nicely renovated, Ac was cold and kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of space for 5 adults and a young toddler, nice that a high chair and baby gate are at the house to use. We enjoyed nights out by the fire pit. Steep driveway but plenty of parking for 4 cars. Nice large dock for boat only downfall was that the water level was low (which we understand is a not in any control of the owner) made it difficult to park boat at the dock in shallow water but it was doable. The water had weeds in it and was pretty mucky so we did not swim at the property. Access to the main lake of Sebago is not far away so we would just boat out to swim, the channel to the main lake is narrow and very curvy but manageable. Overall we had a great stay at this property and found the house to be beautifully renovated and well cleaned. "

"Overall we were happy with our stay. The house was clean upon arrival. Our host Alex was very responsive to any inquiries made. The house is equipped with the basics but did meet all our needs. It was also well stocked with paper towels and toilet paper which was unexpected but a nice surprise. There are 2 full bathrooms which was great for the number we had in our party. There is no king size bed but the configuration of the bedrooms/beds did work well for us to ensure everyone had their own space. Each bedroom also had a tv which was a unexpected surprise. The yard was big enough for the kids to play and the beach area a short walk (maybe 10 min) away and was clean and well kept. Would recommend driving to the beach vs walking if going with anyone elderly or mobility challenged (getting there no problem but the walk up the hill to come back home proved to be too much for my elderly mother). As previously stated we were overall satisfied and would stay here again! "

"We had a family reunion at Sebago State Park and this house and location was perfect. It was very clean and updated. There was plenty of room- everyone had their own bed. We will certainly stay there again in the future. "

"Perfect sized house for our large group. Only a few concerns if you have elderly family members: there are several transitions that can be trip hazards and also some low spots in the floors, most likely from the building settling. Many cabins in Maine have additions added to accommodate larger families- watch Maine Cabin Masters episodes. We also experienced a Maine heatwave that made it a little uncomfortable with no AC for some of the older ladies. This was unusual weather so we cannot fault the host. Fishing was slow on the river but most of us were able to catch some bass and small yellow perch. We chartered with Captain Glen at Sebago River Fishing if you want a great fishing experience. We enjoyed using the canoes and paddling up to Brandy Pond. Our greatest accomplishment for our stay was watching our 9 year old nephew overcome his fear of jumping from the dock into the river. He spent hours swimming in the river. This was great because he usually spends too much time playing video games. The internet would go down many times each day and need to reboot. "
