"The hotel was fine other than the fact that the earliest check-in time is 1500 and we arrived at 1520 but our room wasn't ready. This isn't acceptable when you have plans to meet up with people. Check out is at 11am so there is plenty of time to prepare rooms for new arrivals. There are two lifts but they both don't seem to work all the time. As this hotel was recently re-branded I would expect issues such as these to be dealt with before reopening. The rooms were clean and a decent size and one of the ladies at the breakfast buffet was particularly friendly & helpful. "

"The room was so small, and window was facing lots of pipes and noise was terrible Two people could not walk the room at the same time. Storage / wardrobe hanging the cloths was limited as there was a safe below, complained but they could only offer a room the same size, in the end we left a day early because we could not deal with another night"

"The hotel is undergoing what appears to be a paint refresh, so this probably clouded my judgement slightly. That said, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was ok, but dresser doors wouldn’t close, paint was chipped and generally it looked well worn. The hotel location is great and the nearby restaurants are well worth a visit. The bed was very comfy so that’s a plus. Overall our experience was good, but could have been better."

"From the time we arrived, we found check in so easy and Bethany was really pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. We were put in a quiet room, as there is a music venue nearby, and didn't find any problem with any noise outside. We loved the free croisants and lovely coffees. The staff throughout our stay were all pleasant had help, and checking out, again was dealt with by a lovely young lady (don't know her name) was really easy. I would not hesitate to stay at Roomzzz again when next in Nottingham."

"The first room we were given smelt terrible, largely because of the stains on the carpet where someone had been sick. Second room was slightly better but still had a strange smell from the dirty carpet. Room was incredibly dull and depressing, very outdated with a cheap plastic shower pod, faded furniture, peeling laminate and limited facilities. The only good points about the stay were the central location and a good breakfast. Not cheap and not cheerful."
