Our peaceful retreat is set on a beautiful forested land. Relax on the spacious deck overlooking the two private ponds, enjoying the views & sounds of nature. Wildlife sightings are common here.

The upper deck that is located just outside the kitchen features a BBQ Grill, fire pit with Muskoka chairs, gorgeous string lighting and covered outdoor dining space.

On our lower deck, situated outside of the games room, you will find a 6 seater hot tub with views of the forest and ponds, more string lights and a second fire pit with four additional chairs. We encourage our guests to hang out here for the best views of the nature within the property.

Other outdoor amenities include our regulation-size corn hole and two paddle boards that can be utilized in the ponds. It is next to impossible to be bored at the Oakridge Cottage!

The Oakridge Cottage is the ideal vacation spot for large families, groups of friends and your well-behaved furry friends!

BEDROOMS:

Our cottage offers 3 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 10 people: the primary suite features a Queen canopy bed, the second bedroom has two bunk beds (twin) and the lower level bedroom features two Queen beds.

The wood cabin sleeps an additional two guests in a Queen bed. The wood cabin does NOT have electricity or AC. However there are many windows throughout for air flow.

BATHROOMS:

The cottage has 2 full bathrooms and one half bathroom. There is one full bathroom on each floor of the property.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

For those looking for an adventure, the Oakridge Cottage is located only 20 km from Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park — the largest provincial park in Southern Ontario, which offers a spectacular back drop for outdoor activities.

Additionally the vibrant main street of Bobcaygeon, featuring many shops, cafes and restaurants, is located only 10 minutes from our cottage.

Lastly, the Trent-Severn Waterway is a major attraction for boating and fishing enthusiasts, and is also located 10 minutes from us.

DRIVING DISTANCES:

- 10 minutes to Bobcaygeon (cafes, restaurants, groceries, shops)
- 15 minutes to Buckhorn
- 40 mins to Peterborough
- 1.5 hours to the GTA

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

We live in a peaceful community and we have neighbours on the south and west side of the property (behind the trees). Therefore loud music, excessive noise and yelling are NOT PERMITTED outside in accordance with the bylaws of Trent Lakes. Kindly enjoy the peace and harmony that our property offers.

Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and animals, however this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of major concern to you our space may not be the best fit.

Please also be advised the rustic cabin that sleeps two guests does NOT have running water or electricity. The kitchen sink is also not operable.
