Cozy Cottage on the Trent River.

"I went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after just two nights at this cozy cottage.The cottage is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. With two covered decks overlooking the river, there was a choice of beautiful spots to enjoy coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening (both outdoor areas protected from sun & rain!) There is a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and two "rolling" picnic tables for outdoor meals or games. The kitchen although small, is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts left us a much-appreciated gift of local corn and were attentive to all questions asked. We made use of the kayaks and explored the Trent River in which we also swam and were quite surprised by how clear and warm the water was. The hosts provide all sorts of games & activities for both indoor and outdoor entertainment: Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Card games, puzzles...Volleyball, badminton, croquet, water toys...the list goes on! This place is almost perfect!!"

"Had a pleasant stay. Big room(suite), Very good bed/bedding. Not the newest hotel in town but maintained well. Breakfast was a bit of a mess. Too many people, little serving space. I would give it another try."

"Très belle chambre fonctionnelle pour une famille de 4 avec deux adolescents. Les deux lits principaux sont très confortables, mais pas le divan-lit, il n’est même pas envisageable. La piscine est magnifique aussi et le déjeuner est délicieux et varié."
