Very convenient location to walk to any restaurant in town. Accommodations were comfortable and the place was quaint! Would recommend and stay again."

"THE HOUSE LOCATION RIGHT ON THE LAKE WAS FABULOUS..WE ENJOYED ALL OF THE WATERFALLS AND LIGHT HOUSES IN THE AREA. IT WAS EASY TO FIND AND ENJOYED OUR STAY. WE DID HAVE A FEW ISSUES THOUGH. WE DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT AND WHEN WE GOT THERE, THE WATER WAS NOT WORKING. I DID NOT WANT TO CALL THE PROPERTY MANAGER SO LATE SO MY HUSBAND WHO IS VERY MECHANICALLY INCLINED THOUGHT TO CHECK THE FUSE BOX AND THE BREAKER FOR THE WATER WAS OFF SO THAT FIXED THAT. WE WERE TOLD TO PUT OUR GARBAGE IN...

"Home is cozy & felt very comfortable- Went to visit my daughter & her family who live 4 blocks from the rental. Home is older but clean & well-kept. Within walking distance of many stores, shops, and boat rides/ dock. Could use a second TV and second blow-dryer:) Back yard is enclosed and private. Would recommend this home and would stay here again:)"

"The cabin was even better than the photos portrayed! So peaceful, right on the water - caution if you have littles, but awesome for adults. Have your coffee listening to the river and the birds. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We also appreciated that our dog was allowed and lots of places to walk nearby."

"This beautiful home was great for my husband, myself, daughter, son in law and little grandson (although the house isn’t really set up to accommodate little ones). Sunrise over the beautiful small lake was a treat. Be sure to bring bug spray… the mosquitoes are awful, as they seemed to be all over the UP this time of year. The house was a bit difficult to find using some map apps, so I suggest the owner add some additional clarification on the instructions. I would certainly recommend this...

"We all loved the house. It was very clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable. The location was very nice and private. We had a lake directly in our back yard and enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and the kayaks. It was a small branch off of the larger Au Train lake but an easy row to the bigger lake and very safe. It was so peaceful to sit on the dock and hear the birds and frogs sing while fishing. We had some nice hikes. Particularly liked Chapel Falls and Chapel Beach hike. It was...
