"Delightful elderly couple, very accomodating, very dated everything but our room and bathroom quite clean, their living quarters are very neglected, adequate budget stay for or weekend trip to Guedellon"
"Very quaint hotel, full of character in a pretty village location. Restaurant was very popular with locals with a terrace option. We would advise ringing ahead to confirm check in time as hotel was closed during the afternoon when we arrived. "

"Staying at this beautiful inn was one of the nicest experience we've had in France. The inn is gorgeous, beautifully kept, comfortable, and within walking distance to everything in the village. "Chose this B & B as it was close to the Canal du Nivernais and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. I was the only guest but was offered a 3 course evening meal - very good. Room was clean and quiet, had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh croissants. Little gem of a place. Recommended"
"Séjour entre amis à vélo le long du canal du Nivernais . Étape proche du canal , à 3 km de Clamecy où se trouvent tous les commerces et un très joli centre ville autour d’une belle église . En revanche pas de restauration sur place en dehors du petit déjeuner . Nous avons commandé des bocaux , moyens et chers .. excellent séjour . Joli lieu , piscine chauffée .. "

"After a long drive I was ready for a rest and cup of tea. The room was good and tea and coffee ready to prepare. The evening meal was superb, Saint Jacques cooked to perfection. Not always easy when preparing for many people. Well done, Chef!

"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."
