"An unusual but very attractive property. Very friendly personnel. Breakfast was very generous and plenty of choice, and we liked the simple but filling evening meal. Would certainly stay again if in area. "

"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"We had a wonderful stay here when we were visiting Guedelon Castle (it’s only half an hour away). A very welcoming host, and a beautiful building and location. Some lovely restaurants in the town just a short walk away. Would definitely stay again."

"This hotel has been an Auberge since the middle ages and we enjoyed it as a welcome rest after a long flight. The beds were very confortable and the area was quiet. Showers were modern with lots of hot water. We strongly recommend opting in for the breakfast on the terrace which was excellent."

"After a long drive I was ready for a rest and cup of tea. The room was good and tea and coffee ready to prepare. The evening meal was superb, Saint Jacques cooked to perfection. Not always easy when preparing for many people. Well done, Chef! An enjoyable walk into the village, lovely church, and children all ready for a Halloween party in the sports centre facility. A pleasure to stay in your lovely hotel. Finally, good close parking and lots of it, the grounds, footpaths and gardens are kept...
