"Microtel Baguio is one of the better hotel in the area. I stayed for 17 days in Microtel Baguio because of the location. It's a walking distance to SM Baguio. Amenities are better comparing to some hotels close by session road. The bed is very comfortable and they clean the room every day. The staffs are attentive and very approachable. Negative: you can hear noise from outside especially early morning like 2:30am , the whistle from the bus hub. I recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thanks."

"Did not meet my expectations. Guest’s service agents had poor service, as well as kuya J restaurant staffs for ala cart. Service staffs during breakfast buffet was great and i mostly appreciate the house keeping staffs, they are more accommodating compared to the front staffs."

We informed Housekeeping about this upon our return from touring, but the phone issue persisted throughout our three-day stay. "BE WARN, DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE PICTURES THAT YOU SEE, this place is horrible! In all the oh so many countries I've been to, I would say this is the worst place I've stayed. The first room that was given to me has a disgusting sink area. I woke up in the middle of the night with tons of flies and ants falling from the ceiling and hundreds more crawling on the floor. I hardly slept. When I was about to take a shower, there were hundreds more of ants crawling on the bathroom ceiling, it was so disgusting. I asked to change the room to which they charged me an extra $30. It was a bit decent but you can hear the people talking outside in the middle of the night. Also there were some live electrical wires exposed in the shower area, it was so scary. The next day, I had flea bites all over my body. I'm so glad I didn't have to stay another day. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra money finding another place to stay if you don't want to ruin your vacation."
