"Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. "Just had a wonderful 3 night stay. Loved the place. I had a standard, large, comfortable quiet room, with comfy bed and spacious bathroom. I ate in at the hotel for all 3 nights and the food was superb. Good menu and each dish I had I could not fault, perfectly cooked and presented. Similarly the breakfasts were excellent. Staff were gracious and helpful at all times. I was on a 3 day solo motorcycling jolly. Hotel has good and free parking for residents .Great location for south Wales, pretty town and surroundings. I'll be back!"

"Fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully appointed and spacious apartment. Clean and fantastic location in small quaint area of village. Staff at Reception and within the on-site restaurant were super friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic and home made. Chef accommodated specific request without hesitation and wait staff very attentive. The ONLY drawback was the stairs. There are LOTS of them (no lifts/elevators). From the on-site parking lot to Reception and then getting to our room - lots of stairs. Not a problem for me or my teens, but our friend walks with a cane and found it hard. If you plan to visit, and have accessibility needs, be sure to mention it so you are given room suitable to your abilities. I will return here though - beautiful, (and historic) hotel. LOVED IT."
