"Had a great weekend. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff is fantastic. Free breakfast from 6:30- 930. Everything was delicious. Pool was fabulous. My only complaint is that you can hear EVERYTHING. Toilets flushing are loud, people in the hallway are loud. We had a room right next to the fitness room (rm 210) and when someone was on the treadmill.. it was LOUD 😂 "

"The hotel is in the middle of renovations, so there’s that. Great location and check in staff was friendly. For the price we paid for an oceanfront room, the room was ok. It had been updated, but there were cigarette ashes on our balcony and hair all over our room floor. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The neighbors that stayed near us Saturday night were obnoxiously loud til 4:30am, but that’s not the hotels fault. "

"The kiosk check-in was a breeze and the room was clean and comfortable. Its an older hotel so the shower is a bit small but manageable. Nothing fancy but had everything you need a stay at the beach. The location is perfect! Would stay again."

"House had everything promised. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Felt very cozy and comfortable. Decorated very beachy and tasteful. Hot tub was great. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds. We had a great time and would enjoy returning to Blue Heron."

"The house is in need of some updating. There are a couple of big soft spots in the floors. When we arrived there was so much sand on the stairs it was hardfor me to get up the steps. We were really surprised that no one cleared them. Our grandsons found a needle on thelower le el and the back door was unlocked on our arrival. On the 3rd floor there was a pillow and urine stained towel. There were also medications found in the house under one of the beds. No one had dusted or went over to check the house before arrival. It was a shame because the house is at a great location. The kitchen is well stocked especially for our large group. We will not be renting this property again."
