The astonishing views and a lovely place
Lovely place. Gorgeous views of the sea and our room was an upgrade with a long balcony to see the amazing Black Sea. Good breakfast. Comfortable. Helpful staff. We loved it.
We watched hours of the sun setting with marvelous color changes and beauty.

The hotel is nice but poorly managed.. the front desk is only for check in abd out and run by one person.. on checking in there was a pregnant lady sitting alone at the front desk and tayed on a phone call for 10 min while we were standing in front of her without a simple apology. We booked transportation to the airport for 500 TL. When we were checking out, she asked us how much they told (she meant the previous staff) which gave an impression that the price might not be fixed!. Room service is not professional.. we requested grilled veal pieces, they sent instead beed entrecôte which was not cooked and when we complained to the front desk he said i am all alone here and i cannot do anything, so i spoke to the room service who sent to take the meat and sent back after 10 min blackish in color after puttin back on the grill but was still uncooked. We paid 450 TL for this bad plate. The area around the hotel is not good. What i really liked is the breakfast and also the 2 young man at the gate (doormen).

Overall we had a good experience. The only issue we had was with room service. When we called to place an order we were told the kitchen is busy and we should call after 30 minutes!!

Very clean very attentive staff clean rooms comfortable beds I highly recommend this hotel if you go to Trabzon please don’t go to another hotel. It is absolutely the best hotel in this city I tried many other with disappointment.

Staff are not aware of VIP access .. I showed them and share the expected benefits .. last 2 days the upgrade my room upon request .. spa at the beginning did not give me the discount will reception contacted them twice .. food is not included in VIP access offers .. otherwise the hotel is great .. staff are cooperative and supportive

This was the worst hotel experience we’ve had in a long time. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was unfriendly and borderline rude. Our room smelled, and the shower leaked, drenching the entire bathroom floor and outside carpet. We had to switch rooms, and the new room still had trash in it from the last guest. Service was poor, and extras we’re very expensive. We asked for additional waters (as they give you two free), and they charged 17 TRY per water (usually 3 TRY). The view is nice, but you are far from the city center and have to take cabs everywhere. Overall, there is nothing unique about this hotel, and it lacks soul. We left after one day (had a planned 2-night stay), and had a wonderful stay in a bungalow along the river in Rize. Suggest not staying here.

It was nearly deserted, almost spooky. We were the only diners in a dining room for several hundred. But it’s on a very steep hill and there isn’t anyplace else to go in walking distance. It’s also in a highway construction zone so there’s a lot of debris as you drive to it. We took two tours and neither driver could speak English, so we had no info at all from them other than the name of the place we had arrived at. The food at Queen was excellent but at the other restaurant it was disappointing. Again, the waiter spoke no English, so there was a lot of laborious toggling through the online-only menu, memorizing the location on the menu of the thing we wanted on the English menu, then finding it on the Turkish menu and pointing it out.

My trip to Trabzon
You should stay in a sea view room to enjoy your stay at the hotel. When I booked 2 rooms, I did not remember which view I booked, so when I arrived to hotel and they gave me land view. I reviewed my booking on hotel.com and did not find anything written there related to view, neither sea nor land view is written in my booking details. I asked them to change at least one room to sea view, they rejected and said the hotel is full, though I did not see more than 5 people in the lobby in all my stay. I was not happy for this approach. The TV in my room was supposed to be smart TV, but there was a problem and I could not watch my favorite series on Netflix during my 3 days stay in the hotel. They came 3 times to check and could not do it. The hotel is clean and neat, but to reach there is not easy, it is on the top of a hill and hardly you can reach there.

I was surprised when I checked in to find out my room was booked as standard room Mountain View while my booking was clearly standard room sea view and there were no rooms vacant for sea view also the front desk denied that my booking were sea view they said you were booking as mountain

The view is the only 5 stars in the rating, every thing else is below mediocre, way below expectations. Staff’s attitude, proficiency in English, professionalism, even personal hygiene is way below expectations. Breakfast reminded me with food line in a food shelter, you stand in line, separated by a physical barrier from the food. A staff who is not trained, not professional , lacks the basics of English or other languages, stands there and ??? “Help” you… they ran out every day of pastry .. cheap variety of food… very disappointed, one of my high points of my visits to Turkey is breakfast, they succeeded in smashing it. We once tried dinner at the hotel: you will be disappointed by there response : we ran out of most of what’s on the menu… food was below expectations. No body speaks decent English, you are on your own… they will help you in getting a taxi, and that’s it. I am most disappointed by Radisson Blu, to grant this facility a franchise without trying to check on it. I am most disappointed in Expedia of spreading the lie that this hotel is 5 stars hotel, I don’t trust there valuation any more. The potential of this hotel is physically enormous, the view at every second of the day is extremely gorgeous, especially sunset, but the management is very poor.

Nice and cozy rooms, even the standard ones had a pretty mountain view. Clean, and the staff was great. A bit too costly, but it was worth it.
