"Awesome views from the hotel of lake Toya and surrounding mountains. Buffet breakfast and dinner really good . This hotel is a prefect example of you get what you pay for . "Nice 5 star hotel. The service and staff is top notch. The views are spectacular. Great place to retreat to and relax. We stayed here for 1 night in our trip through Hokkaido.
My only issue was at check in. We were required to make the dinner reservations and meal selection at the front desk. And not everything we wanted was available to us. So it was very awkward experience in my opinion. I don’t know if I made a mistake not reserving the restaurants in advance but it is hard to know what you want for dinner up to 7 months in advance. Maybe it was just better to order room service. "

"The location of this property directly in the lakefront was amazing and offered a beautiful view of the lake from the room. The facility is rather dated overall, but the room was clean and stocked with everything we needed for the stay. The parking lot was convenient and free. Another convenience was the hotel's location in front of the tour boat departure point. The only area of disappointment was that the building was very loud, and by 6am or so, we could hear all the activity around the building quite loudly, such as doors being opened and slammed shut. Perhaps this was because our room was in front of the pantry room (which I guessed was the kitchen?). Other than that, this was a good stay and a good value for the price."
