My husband and I had a great stay. The hotel is close to many attractions within walking distance which was great! There’s food carts nearby offering delicious breakfast and lunch items. There’s also a store right next to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel is dated but very comfortable. The elevators are old but functional. The bed was very small but my husband and I are average size so it wasn’t bad at alI. We like firmer mattresses but we woke up rested with no aches. The pillows were fantastic!! I wished the rooms had a mini fridge and microwave but other than that we had a great stay.

Our hotel experience was pretty awful. The hotel was clean and newer so that was generally fine and the location is great as well and the rooms were pretty sound proof. However, due to the buffet breakfast they shut down one of the elevators that goes to the higher floors which ultimately turns into a 20 minute wait for everyone - you wait 20 to get down. wait 5 or 10 to get off the buffer floor and then if you stop back at your room you wait another 20 minutes to get down because everyone is trying to start their day and there aren't enough elevators. Watching hotel guests yell at each other and jam into already full elevators is not the experience I want when staying at any hotel - luckily most are on vacation and not wanting to fight. We were on one of the top floors (41st) and while in a jam-packed elevator it stopped at just about every floor on the way down while 5 to 10 people on each floor looked at us and did the awkward laugh. Of course some were really mad and forced their way into the elevator while we played the how to do we get the door closed because this is not turning to gridlock. So I'd recommend staying at another hotel and RIU Hotels - I'd be happy to provide my feedback more directly - I already did via your email. But I paid thousands of dollars for a few nights and this was an unacceptable experience.

This hotel is adorable. Great location. Rooms are a great size. We will be back!

Loved the front desk staff and the bell staff. Hated that I was charged $210 for parking when I didn’t even have a car there. Still waiting to be refunded. They said they need to investigate. Smh.
