"We stayed in the cottage. The location was beautiful and the view breathtaking. "Owners were so nice, bed was great, linens and towels were wonderful. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "We had a lovely stay. The cottage is charming and perfectly appointed. It is comfortable and full of amenities. We wanted a place that was located in a beautiful setting so that we can relax, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of Lake George and beyond and this location fit the bill. Tom was very gracious and responsive. He made sure everything was perfect for our trip. Would love to come back!"
