About this property

Beautiful, clean 3 bedroom 4 min walk to the beach, splashpad & playground.

  • Very clean & well appointed.
    Features your own porch view of the lake. Air conditioned & gas fireplace. Dining room seats 6 people. Washer and dryer.
    1st bedroom = queen bed.
    2nd bedroom = double bed.
    3rd bedroom = double on bottom & twin bunk on top.
    The charge per night includes 2 adults and up to 3 children under Additional adults $20 per person per night. Gas BBQ, and a fire pit. A very short walk for you & the kids to reach the playground, splash pad, beach and public restrooms (you can use our Little Tykes wagon).
    This is a smaller beach.
    Just adults? Head to "The Wreck" over looks the pier and the lake. Tour one or more of the numerous wineries within minutes of the cottage.
    i.e. Paglione with their outdoor wood oven pizza's and gelato, Viewpointe, for an outstanding view of the lake. If you end up with a rainy day, take a 15 - 20 minute drive to Amhurstberg for some historic tours, or maybe check out scenic Kingsville for a little shopping and a selection of great restaurants. After enjoying the firepit you may want to relax on the front porch and listen to the lap of the waves. Pack light, we've thought of everything!

As always the cottage was perfect. This is my fifth time renting from Denise and this time we brought friends who also loved the cottage. We ate at a local winery and went to Point Pelee national park. Lovely memories and great place to relax.

Beautiful Cottage

Roomy, clean, well-stocked linens and kitchen items, quiet neighbourhood, nicely decorated. Loved sitting on the front deck with morning coffee watching the weather over the lake. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Awesome get away

We came up for the eclipse and had a peaceful time in the cabin. It was great to let the kids walk down to the beach and playground while I sat on the couch and read. Great restaurants near the cabin. Would stay here again.

This cottage was everything I could hope for. The right size for my friend & my dog & I. Close to a lot of wineries (spent way too much) and close to the beach with a view of the lake from the porch.

We had a wonderful 5-star stay here for a birthday getaway—just two of us looking for a relaxing break. The cottage was very clean and exactly as described, and check-in was easy; our host even let us know we could arrive early, which we appreciated. There were lots of movies, books, and games available—great for families—though we didn’t need them. We loved relaxing by the window or on the front deck watching the water. The location was convenient, and we could walk to a nearby restaurant. If you are into wineries, there are so many close by! We found one we enjoyed with an outdoor fireplace. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place—it’s exactly what you want in a cottage getaway.

Wonderful cottage

The cottage is clean, updated, pretty, has everything you could need. The area is perfect for having my 4 year old grandchild stay with us, splash pad and great climbers, beach, ice cream shop and restaurant within walking and for me a coffee shop. Perfect!

A Great Getaway Destination

This is a quaint, "clean" and hospitable cottage to enjoy a getaway in a quiet neighborhood with a Lake Erie view. A great choice rather than a hotel/ motel scene with abundant indoor and outdoor space. All amenities you need would need are there. Dinese is a great host. Try it out!

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

The rental was very clean and well maintained. Perfect for our family of five! The owners had thought of everything to make it a pleasant stay. The closeness of the park and marina was a massive plus for our family.y son and husband caught many fish off.the pier. We also visited the restaurant right by the marina.. We love this clean bright cottage. My daughter and grandchild come with me for a four day “girl’s weekend”. This year we also went to the Pelee National park and Harrow Fair while we were there. My grandma child is now 5 and it’s our third year. There is a beach and splash pad and climber within a short walk. A cafe for the adults. And restaurant and ice cream near the park. The first two years we did not go anywhere as we had everything we needed. Adding day trips this year is just a bonus. The beds are comfy and we spend evenings watching movies. It’s the perfect cottage for us.
