"Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside"

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. "We recently visited the Loire Valley with our family of four adults. This loft was well equipped and modern. Washer/dryer and drying rack appreciated. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again."

"We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! "

"We loved staying at this little apartment! It was a great value - clean, great features (but NO A/C FYI!), and 1 mile walk to town center. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer though; we purchased fans that helped cool us down at night. Host was great but not as responsive as other VRBO experiences I’ve had (maybe it’s the more relaxed French way?)."

"Wow! What a wonderful home! The house is just as you see in photos, very cute and comfortable! Michel is very kind, and very helpful! I wish we could have stayed longer to get to know Michel and his wife better! The beds are so comfortable! The view is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening, and in the morning! We would definitely stay here again! I only have 2 recommendations for future renters, hand soap in the bathroom and hand towels. We did not realize that the pressure...

"Rien ne manque dans jolie maison de ville décorée avec goût et simplicité, en plein cœur de Tours. Les principales attractions se font à pied. Les places de parking sont payantes mais nombreuses. Petit bémol pour la baignoire qui mérite vraiment d’être rénovée. Impossible de régler la température et le débit de l’eau correctement et durablement."

"Great property. Rural area but walking distance to a few shops and coffee/bar. For Americans the owner doesn’t speak very good English but she communicated very well. She was beyond friendly and brought us some delicious cake made from figs on her property. Tours is a great location for castles and wineries. Would definitely go back! Great few days!"

"If you want to see the Loire castles you may stay many places. But Rochefuret Castle is the ideal place to stay and visit in style. The hosts are great, the place is amazing, a real castle which can be anytime in the visiting circuit. And if the castle is not enough the surrounding estate forest is even better. "Had a lovely time staying with Marie. She was super helpful and welcoming with lots of good advice from places to visit to cooking a meal for us one evening and introducing us to some local wines. Great place to explore the Loire and Touraine region. Car a must but easy access to Ambois, Tours, Chinon etc. superb bakery in Savonniere 5 mins away by car."

"Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "

"The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
