"It was horrible. They us a room with an unbearable smell the first day. On thr secon day, the bathroom drain broke and the smell of bathroom pipes became unbearable. We reported the issue asking for someone to come i side the room to check what happened. And they claimed the maintennance contact was out, and that they could give us another room but as everything left was more expensive we had to pay. Only after we pronounce THE SMELL WAS UNHEALTHY and that we qoukd report it to local Health...

"We were incredibly lucky to even find a last-minute room in a hotel in Tossa de Mar in August, are you kidding? The room was adequate. Me, my mom & my two college-age kids had a place to lay our heads. It’s extremely basic, but Tossa de Mar isn’t a place where you’re going to hang out in your hotel room. Note on the parking: if you are given the option to pay for parking, you will park in a lot about 3 blocks NE of the hotel, next to a major supermarket. In theory, there are temporary spots in front of the adjunct wing of the hotel (across the street) where you can park while you check in. But they’ll probably be occupied. So don’t count on it. It will be loud outside until 2am. It’s a beach town in Spain. Don’t whine. There are countless bodegas and cafes within 2 blocks. To clarify; this hotel has two locations facing each other. The breakfast/dinner cafeteria is in the one to the north, the pool is in the one to the south. You will be given a code to get into both buildings."

"This hotel is perfectly located: close to the beach and the old town, but away from the crowds. We liked to relax on the terrace located on the top of the hotel. Beautiful nightly views of the illuminated old town."

"A charming, comfortable stay in a great location I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has a traditional character that I really liked—it adds to the charm and atmosphere of the place. Despite the very hot weather outside, the room temperature was perfect. It was comfortable and well maintained, with a pleasant ambient temperature without feeling overly cold from the air conditioning. The location is excellent, very close to the station and also very close to the beach. I especially loved having a balcony—it made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in was also very easy and straightforward. I was surprised by some of the reviews saying that it was complicated. In my experience, it was simply the normal modern process of online check-in, and everything went smoothly. Overall, I had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the hotel. Don’t be put off by the reviews about check-in—it was easy and hassle-free for me."

"The hotel was beautiful, and the room was perfect! We had a view of the sea, and the ac worked perfectly, once we put the card in the slot and got it working. We brought battery operated fans, which helped cool it down even more. The hotel was a short walk to restaurants and the castle, which was great! Francesca at the bar was very helpful and even made our dinner reservation for us when we asked! The breakfast was incredible! So many choices, and the food was great!"

"It’s a fabulous hotel, the staff are top-notch and so kind, the location is perfect. I loved being able to go from the pool to the beach very easily and using the chairs on the property versus having to rent a beach chair, but still being able to pop into the Mediterranean very easily whenever we felt like it. Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back!"
