The hotel is wonderful set in a lovely garden with a swimming pool and the rooms are spacious and clean. There is an amazing rooftop bar with views over the bay of Naples and a great restaurant. All of the staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help - the chef even cooked a special dish just for us. The only downside is that if you don't have a car, the local transport is limited but once at the hotel the staff really make the stay feel special.

Very nice hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms not super luxurious, but perfectly nice… the breakfast was excellent. The pool is small but absolutely great in terms of keeping the children busy for good amounts of time. We went in late August. Can’t tell you about transport links as we had hired a car. The location is great for visiting a lot of places. Vesuvius 25 mins drive. Pompeii 15 mins. Herculaneum only 7 mins away. Napoli city centre about 25 mins, and the Amalfi coast is an hour away. If you do hire a car, Make sure you have lots and lots of change for motorway tolls and parking meters. The parking meters often won’t accept foreign bank cards! Lastly… probably best to stay away from Amalfi coast in Jun, Jul and Aug… it’s so tourist-heavy that it’s almost unbearable at times.

Hotel Marad was a great place for this first trip of ours to Italy. With all the hustle and bustle of Naples it was a nice retreat to come home to each night. The staff was great, very helpful with suggestions, the food was amazing & rooftop bar had stunning views! The only thing that would have been great is if the pool was open into the late evenings. It was extra hot this last week and a dip in the pool would have been perfect. Also, I'm not use to swim caps so that was a little strange. Other than that, PERFECTO!!

I felt that I may have been lied too. I arrived early due to my flight time. I checked in but was put in the overflow bldg. I asked if it was because I arrived early. The front desk staff advised no the main bldg was booked for the next 2 days! I had family coming in later that day needing 4 rooms. We all made our reservations at the same time. Strangely all Of them was able to be on the same floor in the main bldg! How does that happen? Ha Best~ Brown skin girl!

My son said this was his favourite place of the trip so far. Staff was very nice and helpful. The cap policy for the pool is correct and you can buy one on site. Very nice view from rooftop bar. Fit our family of 4 just fine
