We recently stayed here with a large group, and the house itself is good for big gatherings. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms.
The area is close to lots of attractions and stores and still provides a quiet atmosphere.
Another major positive was the communication. The owner was incredibly responsive from start to finish. Any time we reached out with a question or a minor issue, they got back to us immediately and took quick action to fix it, which we deeply appreciated.
However, the major downside was the cleanliness, which was poor and frankly not up to the standard you would expect for the price charged. Given the high rental fee AND cleaning fee we expected the property to be spotless. Instead, we noticed common touch areas to be dirty (garbage cans, cupboards, walls, etc) mold and cobwebs in the downstairs shower, and areas in the kitchen and walls that felt overlooked. The back yard seemed unusable due to the deterioration of the hot tub/shelter and landscaping.
If the cleaning standards are brought up to match the premium price point, this would easily be a 5-star property. As it stands, it’s a fantastic space with great service, but the lack of thorough cleanliness holds it back.
